Free Standing Cabin Nestled in Rocks with Outdoor Hot Tub

A freestanding 1-bedroom, 1-bath cabin located three miles from Rocky Mountain National Park, Unit 7 is nestled alongside rock formations with two queen beds, a queen sleeper sofa, and outdoor hot tub. Dine in with a Ā¾ kitchen and gas grill with table and chairs on the deck, explore downtown shopping and dining minutes from your door, or relax in front of a gas fireplace with cable TV and free DVD movie rentals. Stays include complimentary snowshoe rentals during the winter. Dogs welcome with approval ($25 per dog/per day) but no other pets and no smoking, please. Sleeps six.

Beautiful cabin surrounded by mountains and wildlife.

I was a little skeptical after reading older reviews but the place was perfect. The kitchen had new appliances. The cook wear, dishes and utensils were very organized and easy to find. The hot tub was very clean and looked new, the grill was also clean and ready to use. The views from all the windows were magnificent. The beds and furniture was cozy and comfortable. We will definitely be back to Sunnyside Knoll (cabin 7).

Cozy Cabin along the Mtn side

The cabin was so cute and cozy!! The hot tub felt great but all the jets didnā€™t work. But thatā€™s okay it felt great. Water pressure could be better in the shower but thereā€™s a lot of room in every room you go in. The view is just beautiful and we even found a small trail in the rocks behind our cabin. Overall amazing experience

Perfect Getaway Space

We had a wonderful time at Sunnyside 7 - I loved everything about it. Iā€™ve never experienced an indoor hot tub before and found the convenience and comfort quite nice. The accommodations were perfect for me to enjoy some time with family, and friends, and myself. It was very close to a main road but I liked the easy access to nice walks and town. I highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

Very Cozy

We had a wonderful stay. The property was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was stocked nicely and plenty of towels in the bathroom. Our only complaint was the outside porch light was out so it was very dark outside in the early morning and at night to take our dogs out to do their business. We called the office the first day we were there and were told they would fix it but nobody came out. I might also suggest that you could add more hangers in the bedroom closet. We truly had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back.

So close to town and rmnp. Beautiful little setting. We loved seeing the resident hummingbirds zipping around. We had 2 bull elk sleeping on the rocks behind our cabin. It was great.

Nice cabin overall. Just a few nits. Not sure where the switch is for the outdoor light, but we couldn't find it. Wasn't always easy to figure out all of the switches inside either. While there was a good list of dos and don'ts for the hot tub, there were no instructions on how to actually operate the hot tub. The note to not use if over 104 degrees is somewhat irrelevant, given there was no (apparent) gauge anywhere to tell you what the temperature is. The window in the bathroom isn't the most private, considering what the blinds don't cover and how the window latches interfere with the blinds.

Wonderful place close to RMNP for hikes

My family of 5 stayed here to go hiking. The place was clean and tidy. Had everything we needed! It was very close to town and also very close to the entrance of RMNP. Our place was next to other units but we felt very secluded while sitting out on our deck. I would definitely come back and stay again.

Overall, the unit was clean with the exception of the moldy shower stall. The bed was comfortable and the furniture in the living area was comfortable. The hot tub was clean but only one jet works. Enjoyed our morning coffee on the private deck. WiFi worked well.

For the price per night that I paid, this property was unreasonable! The carpet was dirtyā€¦ blinds broken. Mildew Iā€™m the shower under the caulking. It was cleaned wellā€¦ but so old and outdated. I felt the price should have been half of what I paid for the condition of this property.

Initially we had a pretty rough start. The person at the front desk was quite rude over the phone when I called to ask some lady minute questions. However, while the cabin is well worn, it was a very pleasant experience. Overall we had a great time.
