"This is a clean, quiet, comfortable and convenient place to stay about 20-30 minutes walk west of central Amsterdam. The kitchen has all the basics and a dishwasher, but no microwave. Martijn is an accomodating and communicative host who lives downstairs. The stairs are steep and narrow but manageable if you take your time. We would gladly stay here again!"

"This property has a great location near the Rijksmuseum and views of the canal. The cozy one bedroom is very clean and included a teapot and coffee machine, as well as welcome drinks and snacks. Room darkening shades allow for a good nights sleep. The bathroom has a roomy shower. Jacob was very easy to communicate with. Recommend this rental. Note there are 3 steps down to get into the unit."

"We were traveling as a family with two of our young adult children. We love staying in properties that offer local character, and this property delivers. Located across from a canal, it has extensive views of all the comings and goings on the canal. Beautiful! Please heed the owner's warning about the steep stairs. If you have mobility challenges in any way, this property is not for you. Having said that, my husband has a bum knee, and he was able to manage. Interior stairway offers child safety...

"Great apartment in a fun location. We really enjoyed being right in/on the edge of the hustle and bustle. And the location on the canal we were on was excellent. The tree-lined canal, the local restaurants and pubs, the early evening golden hour…all were great. Two things to note: the noise in the alley will definitely impact your sleep late into the night. But it is super quiet until 9 or 10 am so plenty of time to sleep in. Also, the small bed in the very small room with the limited...
