"We absolutely loved EVERYTHING about our stay at Judd’s and Liz’s home! The house manager, Leticia, greeted us and was so kind and informative about the house and the town of Atenas. She even checked in with us several times to make sure everything was in order. The house and furnishings were top notch! We prepared several meals and found the kitchen well equipped. "My daughter and I flew to Costa Rica for a long weekend to visit my son who is in college in San Jose for the semester. This property was perfect for our little reunion. Plenty of space, beautiful views way up in the hills, and a pool. The owners were very helpful and charming. Liked that the house had a local flavor and not generic like most hotels and many other rentals were. Nice restaurants in town. Was central to our day trips."

"We had a great time at this home. Carlos was an amazing host who went above and beyond with friendly communication and problem solving. This home has a "to die for view," and beautiful interior. Make sure you have a 4x4 and preferably off-road tires. If you don't have a 4x4 do not book this place. Overall amazing stay!"
