"To say this place was fantastic would be an understatement. The apartment was so new, clean, and beautiful we wished we had stayed another night (we were only passing through from Budapest to Prague). Parking is easily accesible once you send your car registration to the hotel which was tricky for us at first but we managed to find it and get it done. This was a very last minute booking and by far is the nicest place we stayed in during our 12 day European trip. Breakfast was superb as well. "

"Really nice place to stay. Our room was very small but we knew this in advance. We were there during a heatwave so the pool was amazing. The airconditioning is also great. Breakfast is good, really nice pistachio croissants. The restaurant next to the hotel is a nice place to eat. Only negatives thing would be that the hotel is a bit noisy, you can hear people in the hallway in the morning for example. "

"The property is located on a small street and there is almost no view of anything except the building across the street and there are way too many levels to negotiate. I was OK, but older people will find this inconvenient. The rooms are of a good size, very clean, with veranda. Not really kid safe because of open electrical outlets that kids can get into. Plenty of free parking. "

"This appartment is simply FAN-TAS-TIC! The ‘Podkoren’ apartment is spacious, very clean and has literally everything you need (and even more)! The materials used are of exceptional quality and you noticed this continuously during your stay. The sauna’s, jacuzzi, the patio of our apartment, it was all incredible! We come back next year."

"We drove down to Ljubljana from the UK in August 2024 while enroute to Croatia and opted to stay here for 2 days as it had free parking, wasn't far from the city centre and other attractions. Parking onsite can get competitive at times, but we would eventually find a space. There is an onsite bar and restaurant managed by a lovely gentleman who goes by the name of 'Jigga'.... yeah, like Jay-Z. He also manages the apartments so when we arrived at the property quite late on Day 1 he was kind...

Tried to checkout and apparently the remote for air con had to be taken down but no one tells you this Staff were so rude Meals were below average. A Buffett dinner and breakfast but the serving trays were empty and not refilled The rooms were very noisy and aircon didn’t work so well Had to park a very long way away and two people damaged cars because of narrow road "

"A cidade e linda demais, amei! O hotel muito bom, cafe da manja, atendimento. Nada a reclamar. Unica coisa que me surprendeu e que nao tem uma rodoviaria legal. Como fizemos varios paises de onibus, na volata de Ljubljana pegamos chuva e aguardando o onibus na chuva. Pela cidade linda que e,uma perola de encantamento, so falta melhorar isso. E o hotel nota 10."

"O quarto era otimo para uma pessoa, um bom espaço, ar condicionado bom, o colchão poderia ser melhor, mas no geral eu gostei muito do conceito do quarto! Banheiros bons, as cortinas poderiam ser melhores, mas no geral muito bom, poderia ter esse conceito em outras cidades."

"Hotel muito bom!! Quarto e cama confortáveis, excelente chuveiro. Quarto com ar condicionado, chaleira, microondas, cofre, chá e café de cortesia. Pertinho do centrinho de Ljubljana, com diversas opções de compras, supermercados, restaurantes e todas as atrações turísticas. Além disso pertinho da estação de ônibus da FlixBus. Super recomendo!! "

Great hotel with amazing breakfast

"Great hotel with friendly staff located near the center of Ljubljana. Breakfast was amazing! One of the best, if not the best, of my entire trip, that had 9 hotels in it. Hotel furniture and design seems a bit dated, but all is cleaned and looking well, so I don't mind that at all. Only downside was the car park, that is quite small and often does not have any parking spots available. For this I have two suggestions for the hotel: implement a reservation system and forbid staff from taking free parking spaces, by directing them to other parking spots. The alternative parking garage that the hotel staff recommended me was extremely expensive, costing more than 30 euros for little over 8 hours, so I'd say parking is definitely the main issue with the hotel. Nevertheless, if we exclude the parking, this was a flawless stay."
