"This Villa is the perfect location in central Sicily to enjoy gorgeous scenery and day trips to explore the historic sites nearby. It is perched on the side of a hill with a wrap-around patio providing spectacular views of Mt. Etna, Pergusa Lago, and the valley below. "Very kind hosts who bent Omer backward to surmount the language barrier and see that we got fed. Would recommend it highly."

"This was a really fabulous week in Caltavuturo. Susanne has a created a welcoming and beautifully styled home and we felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. There are many hidden places around the property to relax, whether it’s by the pool, on the terrace on the long outdoor sofa or upstairs on the terrace outside the main apartment. The kitchen is really well stocked with appliances. There are two fridges so plenty of storage space. The Weber grill was perfectly clean and easy to use....

This beautiful property had everything we needed; gorgeous views, multiple eating areas, lovely pool, fruit trees, lovely bedrooms, table tennis area, BBQ and even a pizza oven. Plus Amica, the gorgeous and adorable owners dog. The photographs do not do it justice! We had a great two weeks, and wished it could have been longer The local area is great, The hosts were charm themselves and so helpful. Top quality holiday location . "

"Wow. What an incredible holiday we had! We arrived in the early hours of the morning due to a flight delay and it was no problem and the hosts happily showed us how everything worked. The villa is just stunning, we spent the majority of the days in the pool with our three children- 10, 8 and 4. The steps going the full width of the pool means they could all stand up at some point which was incredibly helpful! Any time a gardener had to come we were given plenty of notice by the hosts also. "This property is incredible. So many carefully thought out spaces to enjoy the outdoors, including the amazing pool area. And the sunsets! Beautiful. The living space inside was wonderful and lovely decor. Everytime you walked into a space there was something new to enjoy. Carmelo warmly welcomed us and has great suggestions for food and places to go tour. The only thing to consider is being outside of any town/city centre there are dogs in the area that at times can get a little loud. "

"We loved this property. Located in the beautiful countryside of Pergusa, La Casa del Poeta is a great place to unwind after a day of site seeing. It is centrally located between Enna and Piazza del Romano and only an hour from Agrigento and the Valley of Temples. The host, Guiliana, was wonderful sharing information about the area and providing recommendations for food, sights and travel. The breakfast is included with lots of options to choose from. We will definitely be staying here again...
