Welcome to breathtaking Manasota Key.. we are located on a shimmering emerald canal & a walk away from the sandy private beach on the Gulf of Mexico..

Stunning newly renovated modern home. Ideal for families and children. -2 bedrooms- King bed, Queen bed & will provide air mattress open and cozy... Accommodates 6 guests.

Enjoy a vacation you will remember. Relaxing in the backyard, right on the canal.. watch the fascinating fish jumping & manatees swim the canal looking for you to spray them with fresh cold water.. breathtaking!!

Fresh new landscaping- Renovated backyard. Enjoy a refreshing bubbling shower in the over sized outdoor shower, perfect after a day at the beach or any out door activities. Enjoy the tranquility of seeing the clouds & sun above while showering!!

Fabulous beach feel backyard with a covered relaxing deck. Enjoy the water scenery of the canal with a nice glass of wine right from the chilled wine refrigerator- Lounge furniture, fire pit, and a gas BBQ. Throw a reel into the canal, all kinds of fish to catch.
Sit back.. feel the sun & enjoy the surreal view...
Enjoyable nice walk to the Beach at the end of the street and one block over..
Perfect evening walk to the beach & enjoy the sunset right on the salty gulf and silky sand at your feet.
The island offers many fabulous outdoor restaurants & nightlife.. Also offers water sport rentals, fishing , Kayak rentals, beach yoga & more ....
Our home sleeps 6 comfortably.. One King bedroom (new mattress ) with a large closet, Queen bedroom (also with a new mattress) this bedroom offers a private full bathroom and a roomy closet. Air mattress will be provided if needed for two additional guests…also has glass sliders to close the sunroom off at night for some privacy.
Spacious open kitchen with all amenities. Just installed new front load washing machine and front loaders dryer.
You will find this home tranquil, bright, private and quite a cozy atmosphere. You will experience a memorable vacation get away..

There is plenty to do on Manasota Key... Boat rentals anything up to 22’ can be tied up on the canal next to our boat lift.. Bike rentals, kayak rentals, Charter fishing, parasailing, Playgrounds for children, Nature walks, Enjoy Yoga on the beach and so much more!!
Night time they have Stumpy's free golf cart shuttle that will pick you up and take you to almost any restaurant lounge you would like.
Beach chairs, towels, sand toys, floats, noodles and beach bag available..

**Please inquire for the off season months May-October, we can offer long term renting for those dates. Having a home built and need a home to rent please send me a message. We will work something out.

Fantastic Location on the Channel!
Loved being able to walk to the beach daily hunting for sharks teeth and watching the sun set! This cozy cottage had easy access for kayaking and we were thrilled to see a manatee swim into the channel!

Great location, comfy beds, quiet street. Wonderful to be able to cook at home but close enough to walk or take free shuttle to numerous restaurants. Beach is short walk as well as Stump Pass Park (as soon as it reopens after Ian)

Relaxing spring vacation
Have been in Manasota Key once before and this location end of the canal is great, especially when renting a kayak and paddling to the bay where a dolphin family is living. Sometimes the dolphins will swim up to the house hunting fish. Great terrace on east side for afternoon relaxing in the shadow. Nice house with all the necessary assesories for having a relaxing stay. Close to the beach and easy access. Thanks for the great stay

Very happy with this rental. Interior was nicely done. Clean. Responsive owners. Accommodated an early check in, as it was possible. Loved the dolphins in the canal and all the wading birds. Short walk to the beach access.

Truly enjoyed this wonderful place!
The house was super clean and had everything we needed! The location is wonderful-loved having the canal in the backyard. We caught some fish and had a visit from the dolphins on our last night. This part of Manasota Key is so peaceful, it's really hard to beat. It's also very close to Stump Pass and the beaches. Sitting fireside at night on the canal was a really nice way to end our days. We've stayed in many different places on Manasota Key through the years. This house was a great choice and we hope to visit again in the future. We highly recommend this beautiful place!!!!

Perfect House for a Relaxing Vacation!
We enjoyed our first visit to Manasota Key immensely! This home is so quiet and comfortable. It is very nicely decorated, has a well stocked kitchen, newer appliances, very comfy beds and furniture, and a nice beachy feel! The back porch overlooking the channel was a fun place to hang out - listening to the fish jump, watching the dolphins play, visits from a few quite tame egrets, and sitting around the fire pit. The house has a great outdoor shower, updated washer and dryer, and everything you need for the beach. We were a nice walk or bike ride from several beaches and multiple restaurants and shops, or you can call Stumpy’s for a free ride (please tip the drivers). Lori was great to work with. She was a very good communicator from the time we booked until we checked out. She was quick to respond with a brand new grill when we found the old one in disrepair. We highly recommend Lori’s “Renovated Beach Escape”!

Perfect house, perfect location, and perfect weather!
We loved the house. It was clean, updated, well equipped, and a great location. We enjoyed the back porch area every day, playing cards, reading, and relaxing! It was just a short walk to the beach where we enjoyed finding shark teeth and beautiful shells. Thank you for sharing your home!

Peaceful Retreat
Absolutely adorable little house in a quiet neighborhood setting! The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay including beach chairs & cart to walk to Stumps Pass beach. The owner even left chocolate chip cookies for us. There are 4 beaches within minutes of the house so we tried each of them but liked Manasota beach the best.

The location is great with easy walk to beach and close to Stump Pass. The house had some issues and renovations appeared to be DIY with door falling off and problems with windows. There was rodent-like activity in the attic which was not handled appropriately. Owners nickeled and dimed us and falsely accused us of damage, but VRBO stepped up and made it right.

Great Property.
Great location, well furnished, very clean home. Property manager was very responsive and most accomodating. My only knock to the place was the king bed was a little to firm for me, but that preference and not something to take a rating down. 100% will look to rent again when we come back.z

Great vacation
We had a wonderful stay on Manasota Key at this great house. It was perfect for our family - walking distance to the beach and restaurants, the canal provided wildlife watching (we saw a dolphin and manatees) and the house was so comfortable for down time. Hope to stay again when visiting relatives in Venice in the future.

Vacation perfection!
We all really enjoyed our stay. Past beach vacations were stays in condos at the popular destinations but I was determine to avoid all of that. We are so happy we did! This was a close enough walk to the beach, so peaceful and not crowded. The house is comfortable and had great space for everyone. We got visits from manatees, a dolphin and a daily visit from Ron-the-egret (crane). The area had plenty of conveniences and great food options. And oh yeah, the shelling at Stumps Pass is the best. We look forward to visiting again. The entire process was easy and we felt welcomed. Thanks for letting us stay.

My family and I enjoyed this property very much . We were able to walk 2 blocks to the beach and fish in the canal out back. We even saw porpoises playing right in the backyard . The place was clean and user friendly .

Great location, quiet and comfortable.
We love Manasota Key! Very cute home decorated in beach style. The house hit what we look for in a rental: very clean, comfortable beds and nice outdoor space. This home is an easy walk to the beach and Stump Pass for great hiking. Home owners were very responsive and available if we needed anything. The home is located on a canal which turned out to be very entertaining. We saw manatee right in front of the house and dolphins at the mouth of the canal several times. There are several restaurants on the island which are within walking distance, but more fun than that is to call Stumpy’s free golf cart service. They will pick you up and deliver you to the restaurant of your choice . . . tip generously - it’s a great service and really cuts down on island traffic.

AWESOME STAY AT AWESOME PLACE
We had such a great time at this home. Wonderful memories were made. Just minutes walking to the beach. Don and Lori are great and available by phone all the time for any questions. They have a nicely decorated, and remodeled home. You can go to the beach or hang around the house and fish the canal. Restaurants are just down the road as well. A perfect place to relax and enjoy your vacation.
