"Newberry was our “hub” to visit so many sites in eastern UP. From waterfalls to lighthouses to beaches to historic sites. And even a lingering monarch butterfly that hadn’t migrated south yet. This property is everything it claims to be! A full kitchen; lots of beds; comfortable. No doubt a great place for everyone and their “toys”!"

"This was a birthday weekend for my 70th birthday. I invited my two daughters their husbands and children along. Age ranges were 5 to 11+5 adults. "The cabin was great right on the lake beautiful views great pike and bass fishing. When we arrived a tree had fallen on the power lines which no big deal sue offered to give us an extra night free. The power company had it back up and in a cpl hours. Not far from lots of things to do"

"This property is such a gem! We've stayed in many cabins similar to Carrie's before and this blew the others out of the water! Rustic but modern enough to where you felt at home. There were 2 large box fans provided so we didn't need the one that we had brought and there was a small tv to help the kids wind down and relax at night. "This was a quaint, lovely place to stay. 2 BR and 2 Baths. Loved that the woods was behind it and view thru window was peaceful. Stayed on a Friday and Saturday so was able to walk across street to the Tahquamenon Lodge and buy a yummy breakfast at very good price. They serve Sat and Sunday mornings.
