"We wanted a couple of days somewhere that wasn’t too far from home but made us feel as though we were, and that is EXACTLY what we got! We began our weekend by entering a BEAUTIFUL A-frame house with amply space and gorgeous furnishings. "Peaceful location in the country just minutes from Spencer. House has been renovated and it's clear the owners take pride in it. Lots of interesting features in decor and lots of beautiful wood. Owners made themselves available for any questions we had. Owner even stopped by to make sure we had access to basement if needed because possible severe weather was headed our way. We plan to stay there next year when our family reunion rolls around again."
