"Great welcome and the room was clean and had everything we needed. Decor a bit dated. Breakfast food was what let it down. My food was fine, but had no Earl Grey, only instant coffee. Not really a big issue but easy fix! However then 3 teas made with cold water. Solution to put in microwave. Even the one milk had been added. Glutton intolerance was discussed, even went to check sausage and hash brown. And then bread and hash brown on plate. Only saying because these are easy fixes and would make...

"One of my favourite hotels to stay in. Very homely, the beds are incredibly comfy and the whole hotel is beautifully decorated and I love how quirky it is. Love the games/bar area and self service kitchen. The owners always friendly and accommodating. Look forward to staying again."

"Such a wonderful little hotel in an ideal location. 5 minute walk from the pier and arcades, 15 minutes or so to both shopping centres ( Gunwharf/cascades ) with the theatre being even closer if that is included in your poa for your time away! Lovely clean rooms, quite a personal experience with only me and my wife with the owner at breakfast but we liked it that way. Would recommend to anyone and will be back soon! Also lovely bar and atmosphere for drinks in the evening."

"Excelente hotel. Muito bem localizado. Problema foi o check in: houve algum problema no sistema e demoramos mais de uma hora para entrar no hotel. Depoia disso tudo ainda noa colocaram num quarto de solteiro com apenas um jogo de toalhas. Apenas uma pessoa estava fazendo os check in mesmo com uma.fila.de.mais de 30 pessoas. Faltou um pouco de.criatividade e vontade de atender os.clientes, da parte da gerência do hotel. Excelentes instalações e ótimo café da manhã. "

"The apartment was clean and exactly what we was looking for as it was just a base for us to sleep and shower. The staff are friendly, unfortunately parking is not free and is quite expensive and they say there is parking in the area, unfortunately southsea/Portsmouth is on the ball with parking and is mostly only available for locals with a parking permits. If you like pubs,bars and restaurants you are in the right area as there are loads around. Yes i would stay there again."

"Lovely place walking distance to the town centre. Clean and confortable. GBP5 for street parking nearby. Parking ont eh road was easy to find. If you are staying only for the night, there is free parking between 6pm and 8am"

"Absolutely did the job. Walking distance to Southsea, the town centre and Gunwharf. V easy check in. Great to offer 3 single beds in one room. Room was clean. Likely to stay here again. "

"Just an absolutely wonderful old and historic hotel. The location was perfect for exploring the harbour and the Naval museums. Our host was a minefield of interesting and useful information, and couldn’t have been friendlier. We were there for 4 nights and it was a truly great stay. "
