"Wonderful camp, just magnificent views of the pond. The road was tough (unpaved), but it was so quiet. Again we went in October. Inside was very clean and nice, just like the photos they had on the website. We took drive to Bar Harbor very nice 👌 "

"Freundliche, familiäre, gemütliche Ferienwohnung am Südrand von Ellsworth, trotzdem ruhig gelegen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Walmart, Hannaford) in wenigen Minuten mit Auto erreichbar. Bis zum Acadia NP etwa 15 Minuten. Wohnung ist mit allem (außer Spülmaschine) ausgestattet, Waschmöglichkeit im Erdgeschoß (Garage). Trotz herbstlicher Kühle am Abend haben wir den Gasgrill gerne und viel genutzt. James ist ein überaus freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. "

"We rented this beautiful home for a girls trip. The property was very clean and spacious and we loved the screened porch dining area. The kitchen was well equipped with washer/dryer looked brand new. Coffee on the deck in the morning was lovely. It's very quiet and peaceful. We would rent again if we return to Maine. Property management was quick to respond if needed. So much better than a hotel!"

"We loved our stay at Idle Hour II. Especially all the windows from which we could take in the surroundings. Bar Harbor and Acadia was an easy 45 min drive. Beds (seemed to be the same) were not our favorite for comfort. Everything's was clean and had the amenities we needed. Having 2 camping chairs in the utility room was great - we ate our lunch on Sand Beach in comfort! We would definitely stay again. "

"We loved the proximity of this property to Bar Harbor, just a short ride when we wanted to head into town. The owner is very easy to contact and was happy to answer any questions that I had. We had a very minor issues with the towels in the home not being completely dry, this was a very easy fix, since there is a washer and dryer on premises. It was no problem for us at all. We were a smaller group than originally planned due to the hurricane in North Carolina and several people contracting...
