"First of all. We didn’t know the water wasnt potable so we had to grab our own. When we pulled up it’s a barn attached to a house and you have to walk up two flights of stairs to get to the “apartment” it’s a barn so lots of black flies upstairs so we didn’t use the beds. "We booked this home in North Hero for a familly gathering and we all were very impressed with all it had to offer. Being directly on the lake we had everything we were looking for. The large interior space is comfortable and well appointed. The outside area with a boat dock, campfire area, and screened in porch allowed us to enjoy the perfect August Vermont weather. "Though the house was nice and pretty much what we expected, there was no information about staying there. We couldn't figure out how to get the tv to cable or to hook up the DVD player so we could use it. We didn't put the trash out to be collected because we didn't know when they were coming. We went to the beach that we think we were allowed at but we didn't know because there was no information about it."

"Our stay was amazing. Our hosts were friendly and stopped by a few times to make sure all was OK. The cottage was clean and had everything we could need. The lake was about a hundred feet from the front door. The view was great and having access to the kayaks was wonderful. There are hiking trails about 5 miles away that our pup liked to run through "

"Overall good stay. My husband loved the sauna! My only complaint was that there was only 1 AC and it was in the living room, so the bedrooms were very warm even with the doors open and fans on. It was very quiet and clean, everything else we needed. It was approximately 25 mins to a wedding venue on lake Champlain. "

"My brother and I did our annual fly fishing trip to the Adirondacks in late September. We stayed at Cathy’s cottage and enjoyed every minute of it. The property backs onto the Salmon River so we could and hear the sound of the rapids at night as we sat on the porch. There is a hot tub, a fire pit, big comfy chairs to sink into and more.
