"Perfectly positioned for arrival off the Spirit of Tasmania. Literally just a few minutes from the terminal. We arrived after check in time and had advised we were coming off the boat so an envelope was left on the reception door. Our cabin was easy to find with parking right outside. "We stayed in a convict built two bedroom, two bathroom ,log fireplace all original features dwelling on a 72 acre farm . Surrounded by farmland with magnificent trees and gardens . Greeted by their three dogs. Supplied with milk, bread eggs and produce from farms , All for a very reasonable price. Would love to return for longer next time. Only 1.15 hours from Cradle Mountain. Great wholesome meals at hotel in town. "

"Lovely, spacious accommodation. The children loved staying here so close to the beach. On the whole, we were provided with enough of everything (utensils etc), though I was a little surprised we were left with only 3 dishwashing tablets (so we bought some more and left a few for the next guests). Also, one of the bedroom doors tended to lock itself when closed & no one in the room, was difficult to unlock from the outside. We struggled to get clothes for 7 people dry, with no dryer in the place...

"Accommodation had everything we needed and was very clean and well maintained. Quiet location that is still close to Sheffield. Very relaxing to sit on the patio soaking in the quiet calm of the forest and watching wallabies, pademelons and birds in the mornings and at dusk. Some games were also provided so we had some good family fun playing monopoly after dinner. Thanks Bruna & John for a wonderful, peaceful and relaxing stay! "
