"Scott’s place was the perfect anchor for us to explore so much of Nova Scotia. We are all from California and there was so much to see and appreciate. The country was amazing, And Scott was the best host possible. We asked him about firewood, and he showed up that day and chopped some more for us. The house couldn’t have been more welcoming, functional or beautiful. Thank you for a wonderful time. "

"Beautiful property on a wonderful, peaceful lake. We swam, sat out on the deck for meals, saw the Milky Way lying out on the dock while loons called. Very clean and well stocked. Many great trails nearby. Convenient to airport and Halifax. Highly recommend!"

"This property was very clean and had everything we needed as a couple. When I booked I told the host it was a 20th Anniversary trip. "The beds were for children only and not suitable for adults. There was no outside furniture to sit on or to eat. There were no curtains for privacy, no cleaning materials for dishes or spills. No coffee maker or dishes etc. The outside had not seen a lawn mower once this year. This was listed as a vrbo but is actually an arnb as the owner lives above the rental with access to the unit. Very disappointed with this listing.....this was NOT a vacation rental but more like an empty apartment...
