We come to Ibstock to visit our friends for their Christmas party every year and this was the first time we'd chosen to find somewhere else to stay. "Lovely old period building with lots of history, even has its own chapel which is used for weddings. There is also an annex which has standard rooms. If you want to stay in the old building you need to book a superior room.Highly recommended for those who want a quiet place to stay. Local national heritage parks (Bradgate Park, Swithland woods) are close by - great for walkers and the hotel is also dog friendly."
