I had a terrible experience at this hotel, and I feel compelled to share it so others can avoid the same. When I arrived for check-in, I was told my room wouldn’t be ready for another 2.5 hours. The delay was because hotel management decided to allow late check-outs for an event group that had been staying there for 3 days. That group’s convenience clearly took priority over incoming guests.
Because of this mess, I ended up arriving one hour late to The Weeknd concert, which was the main reason for my trip. Other guests were forced to change clothes in the lobby washrooms, making it difficult for anyone to actually use the facilities. It was chaotic, uncomfortable, and unacceptable.
To make things worse, hotel staff said they would waive the overnight parking fee to make up for the delay, but that never happened. I wasn’t informed of the charge at checkout, and only discovered it days later when I saw my credit card statement.
On top of everything, there was also a toilet flood in one of the rooms that got so bad it required the fire department to respond and blocked off part of the hotel.
This was hands down the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Poor communication, broken promises, and a complete lack of respect for guests’ time. I will never stay here again, and I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.
