4 bedroom house with amazing ocean views. Our home was renovated specifically with families in mind. We have bunk beds for the kids and 3 additional bedrooms. Large sectional couch in open living space. Great deck with ocean views directly across the street from beach access. Convenient outdoor shower for after spending the day on the beach. Kitchen is well supplied with pots, pans, measuring cups and coffee pot. This kitchen has toaster, blender and the supplies necessary to prepare meals for your family
**Minimum age 25*** No pets*** No smoking*** No house parties

Outdoor shower, beach chairs, boogie boards and toys if not stolen/destroyed by guests.

Beach access: Beautiful ocean views directly across the beach access! Close proximity to the beach access makes it easy to set up a tent and bring coolers & chairs. Rest assured that you're close enough to have lunch at the house or take a quick bathroom break or take your little one back for a nap. After soaking in the sun, rinse the sand off at the warm outside shower. Come back to the cozy house to start your seafood dinner and drinks in a well-equipped kitchen with new appliances and stove. Dine outdoors on the front porch in our 4 oversized Adirondack chairs or air conditioned indoors at the kitchen table or on the sectional couch. Ceiling fans located in all bedrooms except the bunk beds for the kids.

Wifi, internet TV to play whatever subscription service you have (Netflix, Disney +, Amazon Prime).

Comforters and pillows are on all beds. You may bring your own sheets or rent them from Edisto Essentials (they rent, deliver, and pickup anything else you may need during your stay on the island).

Nightmare
We checked in to find dead palmetto bugs/ roaches all over the house and some pretty big live ones as well. The refrigerator was leaking water all over the floor and the inside of the refrigerator was frozen. The dishwasher, while brand new, did not work/ had no power. The location was great though. I communicated all of this with the host. His solution was to refund me and that I could find somewhere else to stay on Labor Day weekend. Extremely disappointed and will never rent this property again.

We loved our stay! The house was clean and large enough another couple and their kids could have went with us. We were also surprised how close the beach access was to the house. We had absolutely no problem crossing the road at any time.

Perfect beach vacation location!
Edisto Beach was great, and this house was the perfect homebase. The beach access is easily walkable. Though you have to cross a 4-lane round (and not a single driver stopped to let us cross), you'll only have to wait a couple minutes before you can safely cross. The house is perfect for a larger family. Everything was as it was listed. And the host was friendly and communicative. Only one critique: I wisht the house was better stocked. The rental should include linens, more pantry staples, and more basic cleaning supplies. But if you know that going in, you won't be disappointed. The place was great and everything was easily enough purchased/brought from home.

Beach Getaway
It was a lovely stay. The front porch was amazing and my family and I enjoyed it every evening. I think a little transparency about the road that you have to cross to get to the beach access would have been nice. Since I’ve never been to Edisto, I had no idea how it was set up. The road is a four lane thoroughfare for the island. There are no crosswalks and no one was very Interested in slowing down for pedestrians. Part of my family consisted of my elderly parents, rushing them across four lanes was not possible!!! We drove down to a beach access that was more accommodating. For younger people/families who can dash quickly I could see it not being a problem at all, but honestly had I known beforehand I would have looked for something beachside. Ben was an awesome host and was very available to answer all my questions as there was storm that came though just days before our arrival, and I was nervous about it’s affects on the AC/ water etc. He was very quick to respond and assure me that everything was a-ok! I would stay again without my parents for sure!

Great house!
This beach house was extremely clean and beautifully decorated. While this stay included just two people, the house is spacious enough for at least eight. Nice view of the ocean across the street.

Perfect location!
This was a great updated rental with easy beach access! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We had a rainy day and stayed inside and watched movies on the super comfy couches. Would stay again!

Comfortable home with ocean view
Very comfortable home with recent upgrades in kitchen and bathrooms. We had everything we needed for preparing meals. We brought toys for our grandson but the home also had a huge tub of toys that he played with all week. Home is just across the street from ocean so easy walk to beach and still close enough to hear the waves and feel the breeze while sitting on the deck.

Great Location!
This is the perfect beach house location! You can see the ocean from the couch while enjoying your morning coffee. When you are ready to hit the beach it is just across the street from beach access. We had a wonderful, relaxing family vacation. The owner was always quick to get back with me.

Awesome family trip to Edisto!!!
House was just the right size for our family of five. We stayed 3 nights and had a great time, location on the island and beach access were exceptional. Crossing over Palmetto was easy since traffic was light. Bedrooms were adequately sized, but not a ton of storage had we been there for a full week. Kitchen had plenty of dishes and pots/pans for cooking at home, which we did for 2 of the 3 nights. Living room and kitchen layout worked well for us and the east facing deck was great both in the mornings and evenings. Ben was responsive prior to our arrival and while we were there - would certainly stay again!

Exactly as pictured and Wonderful!
My husband and I stayed here with our three adult children ages 19- 22. The location was perfect and exactly as pictured! The check in process was super easy and the owners were helpful and available for anything we needed (we only contacted them once to figure out a light source near the grill downstairs. ) The beach is just across the street, but from the porch it felt like beach front with the views. I would definitely stay here again. This house is perfect for families especially with children as you can easily enjoy the beach and go back to the house for lunch or naps or just to escape the sun. Restaurants, shops and the grocery store are a nice bike ride away (only about a mile) it was an amazing, relaxing week!

Property wash good, electrical system a little confusing. Bathroom showers had hair from previous renter upon arrival. I love Edisto so I did not let these small things get in the way.
