Come play, relax, & enjoy on Lake Kosh!This adorable, cozy cottage is situated just off Lake Koshkonong in Edgerton, WI. Relax on the new spacious deck that offers lake views (depending on the season), beautiful mature oaks, and abundant wildlife. This 2 bdrm, 1 bath features an open floor plan and is surrounded by windows with full lite doors, giving way to an incredible cross breeze and the feeling you are outdoors, no matter what season. The interior has gorgeous hardwood floors, a large master bedroom w walk-in closet, fully remodeled kitchen w stainless steel appliances, high efficiency washer & dryer, and a waterfall shower in the bathroom. The 2nd bedroom also features a plush queen sized, pillow top mattress, a small walk in closet, and a large picture window for additional lake views. There are plenty of Adirondack chairs to sit and relax, while watching the abundance of night stars. Or build a campfire in the fire-pit and roast s'mores. A gas grill w fuel is provided to cook up whatever you and yours may be craving. Lake Kosh is truly an amazing & unique area that always offers something to do, no matter what season. There are tons of outdoor/indoor eateries for any individual palate, live waterfront music, or simply snuggle up on the cottage deck & listen to the music echo off the lake on a beautiful summer night. All from the privacy of your front porch. Janesville and Madison are located just minutes away, for any additional fun or any of your shopping needs.

A relaxing stay

Just what the doctor ordered…
My husband and I are attendants in an upcoming wedding. The future bride and groom chose Lake Kosh as the setting for their combined bachelor/ette getaway weekend for all of us (24 people) to gather and get to know each other. This home is tucked away in a quite, pretty area right on the Lake. The house is beautifully decorated with a relaxed, lake/beach nautical theses, cozy beds, nice new kitchen, and all the little touches and amenities a fabulous host can offer. The owners even helped me jump start my SUV when the battery died! Great communication, easy process. Would definitely recommend. The fully reclining couch was a great spot for a couple other guests to nap or sleep the night. Will hopefully be back!

We spent most of the weekend out on the lake and this place gave us exactly what we needed; a cozy clean place to stay that was nearby. If you are using the spare bedroom, I'd suggest bringing a fan because it got a little stuffy in there.

Easy Breezy!
The Boathouse offers a single-level floor plan, convenient driveway parking in a quiet tucked away neighborhood. Thoughtfully renovated with quality appliances (gas stove, great kitchen faucet). We appreciated the firm mattress & learned that a water softener-system means a little soap goes a long way! Highly recommend 2-hr house tour of Taliesen followed by lunch at Spring Green General Store (eco-friendly products & tasty causal dining)

Very Misleading
To be honest this place was okay but very misleading. Says sleeps 6 but only two beds. No pictures of the beds, although the recliner is comfortable, it’s not ideal for sleep. The front door of the house was littered with bugs. There were so many bugs by the front door that we didn’t even use the front door. The grill pictured so nice in the post was not even remotely as clean. Spider webs all over the grill and inside the grill was even worse. The grill looks like it’s never been cleaned. The pictures make it seem like this place is private and has a private bonfire. The bonfire is actually in the front yard, on the street. The chairs on the rocks make it seem like they’re facing a beach; they’re facing the street. The “lake views” are really “walk down the block and make a right and walk down another block”. We come to Wisconsin twice a year every year for the last 5 years using vrbo and other apps. This was the only place we didn’t like. The host was nice but didn’t have much communication back and fourth. Overall, this place is not what we thought it was from the reviews and the misleading pictures.

Clean and welcoming spot. Loved the old trees and quiet area. Walked two and swim at the beach for this area which is a few short blocks away and easy to get to. The second bedroom was tight for a couple and is better for one adult or kids. Immediate response from owner about finding Porch cushions in the master bedroom closet.

My friend and I came up for a nice, relaxing weekend. The house was easy to locate and access! The is house is very clean and comfortable! The restaurants in the local area were fabulous! I highly recommend staying here!

Great weekend!!
We had a wonderful weekend, our intention was to have six of us to go kayaking and float on our Island float, unfortunately the weather didn't quite cooperate, and 3 of us couldn't make it! The house was amazing, it was decorated beautifully, we had some trouble with the internet not working, but with the weather we were not that surprised!! We enjoyed going to Yettis's for dinner and Petits Lakeview also! We even made a trip into Milton and went to The Scoreboard for some karaoke on Friday night! Everything that we would have needed for a trip was at the house, it was a wonderful weekend!! Thank you!!

Nice for a quiet stay
We enjoyed our visit. Quiet area. No beach on property. The community beach nearby is nice for playing in sand but not really swimmable. We swam at Lakeview bar and grill which was wonderful. They serve you drinks right on the beach. House was nice. Outdoor areas, deck and fire pit, were wonderful.

July 4th stay
Great stay! Had an amazing time exploring the area! Friday night we went to the local Supper club on the water at Lake Kosh. Saturday we went to the beach in Madison. Saturday night we went to the stock car races at Jefferson Raceway in Cambria. Sunday we rented a Pontoon boat for the day locally on Lake Kosh and ate on the water. What is not to like? This cottage is adorable! We LOVED the comfy rocking wicker chairs on the deck. There is a fire pit for the night time. It’s a quick walk to the lake. We did go down there for the fireworks with all the neighbors! Had a blast! Thanks Again!

Great little getaway
We had such a good girls weekend. Great location and newly renovated home close to the lake. We loved the indoor space, appreciated the central air, enjoyed the patio with the rocking chairs and the firepit area. It was a group of 6 and we were very comfortable. One little issue we had was with the fridge not cooling. We contacted the host and they were very quick to respond. One of our girls also forgot a toothbrush and they were kind enough to give us a spare. Would definitely recommend.
