"This was a nice big place, clean and good value for the money. Better than a hotel room at any of the cheap hotels in town. Mark and Steve had some excellent freshly ground coffee, sugar and creamers for us to enjoy in the morning. Great location near downtown and the lake, but quieter than where the chain hotels are."

"This unit isn’t anything special; cheaply renovated, poorly decorated, oddly shaped. The toilets are sensitive, so we were instructed to not flush toilet paper and the shower didn’t drain properly. We found evidence of mice in the kitchen. We didn’t have enough towels for our group. However, otherwise we had all we needed, including a washer and dryer and two bathrooms. "I received no information from the host about accessing the rental. The two phone numbers on the listing do not connect to the host. Thankfully a neighbour had the host's number or we may not have gotten in! The staircase to the apt. is treacherous and the place had a musty odour. There was black mold in the closets and only bottom sheets on the beds. There was no page of information for the unit.The airconditioning worked well, as did the shower head. "

"This place is a wonderful suburban jewel, located in a area of new construction, and is easily accessed from Highway 11. We were in town for a concert at Casino Rama and it was only a short drive between. The host was incredibly communicative, and answered questions before we came down, as well as offering support during our stay. The place is very clean and well maintained. "We had a disappointing experience during our stay at a VRBO property in Horseshoe Valley. Upon arrival, we found the driveway had not been shoveled, which made it difficult to park and unload our things in the snow. "It was far from the “Perfect Studio” Bedding was not clean, full of stains and the comforter was old and very used. Cupboard doors were all broken. There were dirty towels hanging in the bathroom when we arrived. No hand soap the bottle was empty and the shampoo bottles were broken. Couch was stained and had hair everywhere. Needless to say we left and never stayed the night. Very disappointed. We have put in a claim for a refund. We have yet to have received one. "
