"This was a great property. Totally renovated large rooms, beds were comfy, very clean. The only slightly odd thing was walking thru the restaurant to get to our room. But the service was great, Tracey’s restaurant was amazing and Nick, the mixologist made a great whiskey sour. The location was close to everything. Great service. "

"The Birchy is a renovated motel that sits right on U.S. 41. As their literature states all their rooms face Lake Superior, true, but U.S. 41 is a very busy highway, and the sound proofing the room is not the best. I had to use earplugs and put a pillow on my head to shut out the noise. Otherwise, the room is very contemporary, sparse, but neat and clean. Very good accommodations. There is no front desk, so you let yourself in by an entry code, and leave by using an exit code. Very efficient....

"We loved having the first floor and being able to walk out directly from our room to the lake with our dogs. That’s so convenient. The hotel is clean, nice staff, well ran. Loved the trails around Munising. Beautiful spot. Glad we made the trip. "

"Had a great 3 day stay. Nine of us were in Munising for a golf tournament. Only issue was our clerk when we got there, should not be in a customer service role. Feel they are getting ready to shut the place down, as they are getting rid of convenience store and gas station ."

"These cabins were a fantastic place to start and end our days. They had everything we needed, were clean, and spacious. We enjoyed the on-site hiking. Know that if you’re brining more than three people you’ll want to bring extra camp chairs to sit outside. "

"This is an older property with no frills but room was clean. Property is located on main highway through town so there was a bit of traffic noise. We had a truck and trailer unit so parking was a challenge but staff worked with us on this"

"A recepção fecha e só abre as 8 da manhã- se chegar tarde terá que ligar para alguém vir fazer seu check in. O café da manhã que o hotel oferece é muito fraco- não há nada salgado, apenas bolinhos e você tem que ir na recepção buscar e levar de bandeija para seu quarto pois não há onde sentar ali. A localização do hotel é ímpar, com uma linda vista para o lago."

"I typically like the cheaper hotels and you get what you pay for. The hotel was fine, but they charge a $30 property fee which is steep. The television didn’t work even with the added HDMI cable. Not that big of deal since I can and should avoid tv on vacation! I thought the toilet was not cleaned, but it ended up just being the water. The water was yellow. I compared it to a bottle of water I got from the faucet at the previous hotel where I stayed. The hot water from the sink ran dark brown...
