ATV, Snowmobile, Hunters' Retreat

Welcome to our beautiful piece of the Northwoods! Come stay at this brand new, built in 2014 cabin on a 3 acre wooded lot located on a private drive. This 1300 square foot home features 2 bedrooms, one bathroom, family room, and a huge loft to accommodate up to 12 adults. The Master Bedroom features a king size bed, while the second bedroom has a queen bed. Moving up to the loft, you find a double bed, two sets of bunk beds, and additional queen bed for your comfort. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances (fridge, stove, microwave AND a dishwasher), plenty of counter space for all the necessities of your cooking, with lots of room at the dining table to eat, entertain, play board games, dice, or cards. The cabin also has a washer and dryer for your convenience.
Being so close to the Rock Dam Lake, you will have the opportunity to fully enjoy the outdoors: ATV or Snowmobile right off of the property, jet-ski, or swim at the lake. There are two bars with food and beverages right on the lake, if you choose to eat out.
Towels and sheets are provided at the cabin, so don't you worry about packing all that!

Good location for ATV
Over all the stay was good. The location to the ATV trails were great. The cabin was fine, you can tell it is just a rental property. It wasn’t anything fancy, the beds were ok, the couch was small for how many people it sleeps and there were hundreds of lady bugs in the cabin, but given the price we got what we paid for.

Perfect get-away to work
I am a teacher and brought a group of high schoolers who serve on a leadership team to complete their training for the upcoming school year! This was a great place to do that with ample space for sleeping and a roomy living space.

Cozy Getaway
My husband and I booked this cabin because it was close to my family’s land and we wanted a cozy winter getaway, and we got just that! It was the perfect little place to sit back, relax, enjoy some Christmas movies on Netflix and catch up on some reading we were wanting to do! It snowed while we were there and it was truly magical! Our dogs came along with us and they loved it too! The property is tucked away on a private road making it feel secluded. We couldn’t have asked for a better place :)

Beautiful Cabin
I was out in Willard for a wedding and this cabin was beautiful! I actually was under the impression that there were only 2 larger beds and one set of bunk beds and I was pleasantly surprised to see way more beds there! Would stay again for sure if I find myself out in Willard again! Thanks for great communication and a lovely space for us to enjoy!

Very Peaceful and relaxing retreat
We are from Rock Dam/ Willard so being able to bring our family up for a short vacation was awesome. The property is nestled in the woods so bring plenty of deep woods off. It has all of the amenities you need!! Will definitely return!

Friends ATV getaway
The cabin is as shown in pictures. Very nice place to stay and great location. The property is listed for sale but to make the rental better, I would suggest the addition of ceiling fans and mirrors in the bedrooms as well as additional seating in the TV area. We came in at night and had trouble finding the cabin, better signage would also be helpful. This is a great cabin for the price and we would stay here again!

Rental was everything outlined in the description of the property. Only suggestion would be to have a couple of comfortable chairs in the living room. Had to use dining room chairs not the most comfortable for visits.

Great experience
This property was in great shape. There is plenty of beds to choose from. The appliances are all in good working condition. Our main reason for this trip was to ride ATV/UTVs and this was a perfect, secluded place. You cannot even see another house with all the greenery surrounding it. The absolute only complain I have would be the mosquitos. Nothing the owners could do, but I suggest to take preventative yard fogger. They were so thick that after the first night we had to just stay inside if we weren't on our machines and moving. But other than that, I would suggest it. We will stay here again if we make it back this way.

Peaceful and Private
We are very happy with our stay! The cabin was exactly what we were expecting from the online picture’s. It was a beautiful place in a nice quiet secluded spot but still close to the lake. It accommodated four adults and 7 children ages 2-17 comfortably. It was clean and well maintained! It had all the cookware we needed to make meals and plenty of bath towels. Having a washer and dryer right there was so nice. Communication from the owners was excellent and check-in directions were good. For our first time renting a cabin it was a wonderful experience! We will be doing it again!

Perfect getaway to unplug
Check-in/out was easy, house was clean and spacious. Our family had fun playing outside, relaxing with a fire in the fire pit, and exploring Rock Dam Lake. The local food was great, and neighbors were friendly. The house itself worked perfectly for our family. Plenty of room for more people to stay next time! Thanks for the memories!

Didn't meet expectations
The couch is literally falling apart. The rugs were filthy. The mattress was so bad you could feel the individual springs as you laid on it. The water pressure was a trickle and that is not an understatement. You will get a 20 point lost of what you can't do and the charges if you don't comply.

Great cabin
we've been coming to Wisconsin every October for the last 33 years to bird hunt and the last 20 in the rock dam area. This was our first time at this cabin and we really enjoyed it. The only thing that could have been better would have been better weather. But it is Wisconsin and I guess winter can show up at anytime. But we really liked the cabin.

Great property close to the trails. There were some reviews that stated firewood would be provided and that there was a hot tub (the VBRO description does not include these items) but to provide an update, that is not the case. Also, it was a little inconvenient to have to drag all our trash 5 hours home with us or get charged per bag. Overall, good experience.

Just what we were hoping for!
This place was wonderful with every accommodation you could need! Very clean, well kept, and relaxing. We came up with a side by side to ride the trails and we were just a short drive to get on those. We parked the trailer in the driveway, unloaded, and off we went! Highly recommend!!!! Five stars all the way around!

Need seating.
There were 11 people in our group. My advice would be more seating available, maybe card table and chairs, as we could not all eat around the table with 6 chairs. Also a second bathroom would be great.
