"We were underwhelmed by the home. On the positive, lovely historic home in great proximity to everything. Negative, house smells of pet urine, carpets had urine stains, kitchen floor was disgusting, utensils needed to be washed before using, dishwasher had food in the bottom. No dish washer detergent was provided. The back porch needs power washing and repair. There is no hot tub or jetted tub as advertised. It is a duplex… not a single family home "

"Cape Charles is a beautiful town on the bay and did not disappoint with the a clean beach and small town atmosphere. Plenty of great places to eat and try some local craft brews. The house was nice with the updated kitchen being the highlight of the property. "Our second time staying at the house. We absolutely love the property and all its surrounding wildlife. Enjoyed spending time hiking, fishing, crabbing, and watching eagles flying over the water. The house is clean and well stocked, and the game room is a great place to spend time in the evenings or rainy days. The hosts are attentive and helpful. Looking forward to visiting again!"
