Enter this split-level home on the first floor, which is accessed down a short flight of stairs from the parking area. Step into the living area where floor to ceiling windows take advantage of the stunning views of the sound. Sliding doors lead to the upper patio that is outfitted with seating for six and a charcoal grill. A lovely path leads below to a second seating area when your group is ready to spread out.

The bright, beautiful, modern kitchen is a chef’s dream, fully equipped with everything you need to prepare a memorable meal to be enjoyed indoors at the dining table for six or al fresco on the patio. A small bathroom with shower stall is conveniently located on the first floor near the utility room, where you will find a washer and dryer for your laundry needs.

All three bedrooms and a full bathroom are located on the second floor. The sleek bathroom sports a double vanity and a full tub and shower. The first bedroom at the top of the stairs is generously sized and outfitted with a king bed and writing desk. Large picture windows take in the views of the sound. Down the hall, the next bedroom is furnished with a twin trundle bed and more views of the sound. The third bedroom at the end of the hall is furnished with queen mattress and windows strategically placed to take advantage of the view. At the end of the hall, is a work area equipped with a desk, monitor, and printer.

The central location of this home makes for easy access to the island’s most popular destinations - including miles of hiking trails at Moran State Park and Turtleback Mountain Preserve, and whale watching tours departing from multiple locations around the island. Crescent Beach, the island’s largest and most popular public beach, is less than five minutes by car or about 15 minutes on foot from the house.

When your adventures are done for the day, take advantage of the big screen HD television and Sonos sound system. Choose from the selection of DVDs available or stream your own subscriptions to Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. Gather the family around the table with one of the puzzles or board games stowed in the drawers below the television. Stargaze from the patio after night falls.
