The Space:
This cottage offers sweeping views of the ocean complimented by a large open living space and a perfect deck to enjoy the outdoor space. It is truly as close to the waterfront as you can get and the views alone make this cottage a perfect place to experience Cape Cod. Our cottage is perfectly located on Town Cove. The large, gated deck is where you’ll enjoy cocktails and grilling, watching boats in the bay, birds and beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Inside you’ll find a galley kitchen, two bedrooms, a queen bed in one and 2-twins in the other, a gas fireplace in the living room and well equipped galley kitchen as well as an updated bathroom. The living space also offers a full-size futon for overnight guests. Stay cool and connected with A/C units in both bedrooms and secured wifi and satellite to enjoy on your flat screen TV.


Anchorage on the Cove by Del Mar Vacations offers a full vacation experience in one place. Put your boat in at Town Cove and pick up your guests right at our boat dock for a day trip to anywhere! Enjoy use of our kayaks, canoes or skiff or bring your paddleboard or fishing poles to explore the area (available through October). We are centrally located near shopping, bay and ocean beaches, bike trails, art galleries, theatres, great restaurants, and the Cape Cod Institute and Cape Cod Symposia.

Large Families Take Note! This unit is on a property with 3 other cottages and 2 condos that are also available. The entire property sleeps 23 and is fantastic for a large family offering plenty of open space as well as private space if needed. Pets are always welcome on leash and even have their own dog run on the property(just make sure to supervise and clean up after). Our waterfront accommodations are open year round, and our cottages are available on a weekly basis “in season” from Saturday to Saturday and off-season, we offer a two-night minimum.

Beautiful view
The view was worth some of the inconveniences. Checking in was seamless and the place was clean. If you are on the taller or larger side, the shower is a tight space. The kitchen is small, stocked with pots, pans and dishes, but do remember to bring your own salt, pepper, cooking oil, plastic wrap and foil if you cook. Also, the burners on the stove were fussy and didn’t always work. We had some trouble with the TV and called Del Mar around 8:50 in the evening. Fortunately we were able to work it out by ourselves. I think Del Mar called the next day, but I was driving. I did pick up but didn’t hear anyone on the line. .No message was left by them. The place was right on Rte 6 and getting out of the place was challenging. Overall, peaceful with a beautiful view.

Quaint cottage, convenient location
Cut cottage on a nice property right off of route 6 and on the town cove. I feel that for the size/price this property could really use some updating. It was clean but there was a fairly distinct musty smell. A dehumidifier was provided that did help with that though. The bed is very hard and not comfortable. Couch is also very worn and you sink very far into it. Not bad for a quick trip but probably would not visit again.

Cabin review
We loved the location right on the water. The cabin was adequate except I was unable fo fit my small motorized wheelchair through the bathroom door. I’ve come to realize old homes are not ADA compliant. We made it work. We also loved the peaceful nature. The queen mattress was very comfortable. New mini-blinds needed in kitchen.

Loved the deck & view
Got lucky with near-perfect weather all week so spent plenty of time out on the deck. Sofa is very soft & low so people with bad knees may have difficulty getting on & off. Driveway intersects with busy Route 6 so it can be challenging getting out of the driveway (can the high grasses be mowed near Route 6 or the property sign repositioned to facilitate visibility of oncoming traffic for drivers leaving the property?) The property’s proximity to some amazing beaches on the mid-cape make Eastham a great base. But it’s a challenging location for pedestrians and, for safety reasons, I would not recommend trying to get around on foot from that location. Drivers seem to be going well beyond the speed limit on that narrow stretch of Route 6. We only used the stove for one meal but even boiling pasta for 10 minutes made the adjacent wall REALLY heat up and that made us a little nervous. But overall we had a fabulous week and we’re already making plans to return next year. Thank you!!!

Wonderful cottage
We had wonderful weather and loved the Top sail cottage. We cooked on the grill and sat on the enclosed deck with our dog every day and enjoyed the water view. We plan on returning very soon.

What a lovely little cove side cottage! We fell in love with this place. The pictures are accurate to the home. I loved sipping my coffee on the deck overlooking the water and reading a book. My husband and son fished from the dock each morning and night. Plenty of great restaurants nearby and perfectly situated to get to any area of the cape! My husband and I traveled with two teenagers and this house was perfect for the four of us. We absolutely will rent from them again or another DelMar property. I am very impressed with their communication and attentiveness to the property. A couple things to note, the game room is not in the house but in another building on property, maybe 50 feet away from the house. The property is set on the main road in Orleans so it is difficult to leave the driveway during peak traffic times and make a left (anyone familiar with summer Cape traffic will understand), so we went right and turned around. But that wouldn’t stop us from renting this house or another of the houses in this location again. Honestly, one of the best vacations we have had and we have been going to the Cape for 23 years!

Great location!
The cottage is as pictured and the view is lovely. Very convenient location, near the Orleans rotary, easy access to both ends of the Cape. We were disappointed to learn on arrival that the gas fireplace isn't available for guest use, but otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed the cottage!

Great Stay
The location was Wonderful right on the Cove, and the Top Sail cabin had an unobstructed view of the Cove. It was close to restaurants and shopping. It was very clean and no dog orders even though they allowed dogs. The cabin had been updated with new windows and roof and although the interior seemed dated (not unusual for an older cabin, it was very pleasant. We would stay again in the future. The management kept us very well informed.

Just a lovely time
The property was beautiful and perfect for what we needed. The bed was comfy. The deck was the best and the view absolutely beautiful the entire time. The lawn was manicured and beautiful flowers were growing. There were plenty of sitting areas for overlooking the cove and watching the water. We celebrated our 5 year anniversary and it was just a peaceful lovely time. Close to a nice grocery store and several other neat locations on the cape. It was absolutely beautiful!!!

Relaxing Stay
We enjoyed our stay at this small dog friendly cottage in Eastham. The house sits right on Nauset Cove and the views were terrific. It was close to shopping and fish markets and many beaches and places to walk with our pup.

Cute cottage in central location
First, the folks at Del Mar are great at their jobs and at communicating. Shout out to them. This cute cottage has a lovely view, and although centrally located and on a busy street, it’s quiet and peaceful. It was clean and cozy. I would suggest replacing the well worn carpets with something easier to maintain in the dampness, but the water is hot, the kitchen equipped with the basics, and the bed comfy. And they welcome dogs.

Peaceful getaway
The home was charming and right on the water. The dock is great for kids to hang out or swim from. Location is great: close to restaurants, bay and ocean beaches with lots for kids to do.
