"Chalet #5 was generally clean, somewhat updated with good windows; furnishings were dated but in good repair and comfortable. The overall finishes were a hodgepodge, no cohesive decorating theme. Good lighting. Bathtub and hot tub were both clean. Nice dishwasher and clothes washer with adequate supplies of detergent. Comfortable bed in master. Areas of concern: Light bulb out in refrigerator. Upstairs bed was creaking which could be heard downstairs. Cobwebs in the master bedroom and above...

"On our way from Anchorage to Seward, we stopped at Arlene and Roger's beautiful home. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the house itself was stunning. Arlene and Roger remodeled it themselves, and the attention to detail is incredible. Our party of nine had plenty of space, with everyone enjoying their own private area. The house is clean, well stocked, and well maintained. There is so much to do nearby, such as Chugiak, many hikes, restaurants, parks.
