"A lovely large, clean, comfortable, well equipped property in a quiet location in southern Scotland. Host Nigel was very responsive and pointed us to some great walks close by. "We had a good week at the property, it is a bit remote and shopping for food best done before you arrive at property or in larger village shops! Lovely gardens and beach for the kids, a bit rocky but kids loved looking in rock pools. "The cottage was cosy and had everything we needed. A minor niggle, but it was a bit cluttered with cushions and throws in the sitting room - the throws just slid off the leather sofas and the cushions were too big and too many, so were surplus to requirements. The location suited us very well, with a host of lovely walks and places to visit nearby. We had a wonderful break and can recommend!"
