"Our stay at this house could have been perfect if it had not been for two issues. The first one has to do with the accuracy of online listing in terms of location, it seems it is by the beach or at least at a pretty close walking distance but it is not actually like that, the second issue, which is a major one, is the problem with electric power the island suffers. We spent almost two days without electricity and it is something we should have been warned beforehand so we could make a decision...

The showers did not have blinds and the main bathroom door had no lock. "This is a lovely well-furnished and comfortable apartment in a quiet neighborhood near the beach, with all the amenities we wanted. My wife and I would be happy to stay here again on any future trip to Harbour Island. The owner/manager is very responsive to any questions or issues that arise."

"My wife and I brought our two young daughters and my in-laws for 8 nights at Sunnyside. It was amazing. The house is great and has been recently remodeled. The pictures are all accurate. Camille and Andrew who manage the property did a fantastic job ensuring that every detail was cared for, from transportation throughout to housekeeping to groundskeeping. "This property is so perfect for a large family or group. We celebrated my mother's 90th birthday with our extended family - 9 months to 9 decades. There were 10 adults and 3 young children. Having a whole island to yourself with a pool, beach, well equipped kitchen and boats with captains to take you anywhere is heaven. You can't do better!"

"This beach bungalow is heaven for those that want simple, natural beauty. It was a rare luxury to have such beautiful oceanfront all to ourselves. The bungalow had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Paddleboards available for exploring and excellent snorkeling just off the beach. Best to wait for low tide where you can make your way around the rocks. The road to the place is very rough, so a Jeep or some type of SUV is ideal. There are some very sweet/timid dogs that may stop by....

"Very well-eqipped. We even got used to the "charm" of the roosters. Banana trees, coconut palms and the sound of the ocean from the hilltop deck with view."

"Location, location, location! Unbelievable location! It was so calming to fall asleep and wake up to the sounds of the waves crashing. Charming little cottage with everything you need. Clean and comfortable. Excellent communication with Mark, the host. The only negative is not about the home itself, but rather the island as a whole. Businesses open and close as they please. No consistent business hours. While there, we tried 3 different restaurants for dinner. None of them were...

"Very comfortable for 4 adult women. Kitchen was very well stocked making cooking easy. Lots of outdoor seating and very close to an outstanding beach. Location was perfect, close to grocery and very walkable. We enjoyed ourselves immensely and have already discussed possibly returning. The house was beautiful with lots of fun water toys for our wide range of ages to play with from Kayaks, to a small 2 person sailboat, to a leg propelled kayak. The beach is amazing and very private. "Can't imagine a more magical place. We stayed for a week and would have happily stayed for a year. The cottage is the perfect size for two people, and we loved waking up each morning to watch the sunrise over the ocean.
