"Property was great. Plenty of information throughout the house identifying what was what and how to do various things around the house. If i had to complain about something would be that some newer mattresses in the main house would be ideal. I might just be getting old though lol. Pete was super helpful accommodating us staying an extra day. 10/10 nice guy"

"I usually travel with my best friend for my birthday weekend this year I wanted to make it a family trip to make memories with the grandbabies. This was a perfect place to do this. It is located at the top of the mountain so the view is amazing. Their is a game room that the grandbabies and all of us loved. Sunsets are amazing and the people around are so friendly. This I would say was the best trip and I'm excited to do it agian and we plan on booking this same cabin. Absolutely love this place"

"When we got there we had to clear spider webs off the doors to open them up. (That should have been a clue) It was hot a stuffy in the house, but they left fans since there is no air conditioning (thank you). "My family had a blast in the short time we stayed here. There was so much to do here without leaving the house. We were here for a wedding and it allowed my family to be in one place and I will treasure my time here always. The host and property mananger were very nice and communicate quickly. "While I was there, water heater went out and door lock was very uncooperative. The host was responsive and got both replaced. The only other issue was that I stayed while temperatures outside reached over 100 degrees. Even with circulation fans, the A/C wasn't enough. Needs insulation. "

Cozy living room with a wood-burning stove for heat augmented with electric space heaters. Efficiency kitchen, outdoor deck area overlooking stream. Friendly, attentive management. "The property has great potential for a nice stay. We found the bed mattress was not comfortable and the pillows were very flat. One issues we experienced was the house has mice. We woke up to mice droppings on our clothing that was in our suitcase on the floor. We also saw a mouse running across the kitchen floor. When reported to the owner, she apologized for the inconvenience and she would look into have this checked out. "

"Lovely Craftsman house in Porterville. The living room and dining room are bigger then what the picture shows. The only draw back was no extra garage bags, no blow dryer and iron. Items we did not fly down with. It was great being able to walk to downtown to restaurants and coffee shops. Only 1/2 mile away. Would stay again!!"
