"Our stay at Villa Cayo exceeded expectations. We stayed in one of their separate guesthouses. Sitting on the comfy Adirondack chairs watching toucans eating fruit from the tree in front of our guesthouse was magical. The property faces west so watching the sunsets with a glass of wine in the evenings was great. The guesthouse was very comfortable and impeccably cleaned. "The property is amazing. Only received low score based on accuracy of listing. My cabin was not one that was pictured, however I did still enjoy the cabin and it was cool and comfortable. The pool was…. Not as clear as the pictures. The food from Jack at the bar was 10/10 phenomenal. I recommend the buffet and full English breakfast. The road coming up the hill is a little rough, but manageable. I enjoyed my stay. It was quiet and comfy. Very relaxing."

"The listing does not show the cabana in question. As we were the only guests at the time, we were given the option of 2 different cabanas neither of which matched the pics in the in listing. The cabana we ended up with had 2 very tiny bedrooms with no place to put our luggage. The washroom needed upgrades as the shower head was hanging on for it's life. The cabana itself smelled extremely musty. The entire property could use repairs and upgrades: toilet seat falling off type of repairs. On the...

"Beautiful property and really awesome villa! There were so many tropical plants and flowers around the property and villa. It felt very peaceful and private. It was a very unique experience being in the villa because it’s all open floor plan with only screens separating you from the forest. There is no air conditioning but it was still pleasant with the fans and breeze. It was very damp though with all the humidity. Be warned, It is extremely remote. "We had a wonderful time in San Ignacio. The check in was simple and the house was clean. We booked our excursions through the owners and received a discount. Onil was our tour guide for all the excursions we did and he was incredibly knowledgeable and fun. The pool was nice to lounge in after a full day of fun in the sun. "

"This property exceeded all of our expectations! The location is absolutely beautiful. And the host was fantastic. Hadas set up our excursions for us and was always available to answer questions or get us a taxi into town. I highly recommend this property."

"This place truly had it all Beautiful home and property- spacious and lovely environment to hang out inside or outside Wonderful staff- Elias and Betty were so kind and attentive, gave great recommendations, anticipated our needs and went above and beyond DELICIOUS food- seriously some of the best meals we’ve eaten, for every single meal. "We really enjoyed our stay at the Pine Tree Villa. The space was clean, comfortable and convenient. The home is a 30 minute walk from central San Ignacio, so the neighborhood is quiet but it's still easy to stop by town."

"The place was big, beautiful tile and wood work. No hot water, hard to find, no one to meet us, had to hunt down someone to open it. Stove did not work. Not enough blankets. Beds were uncomfortable. Neighbors were noisy until 2 p.m. Mortorcyles came by at 4:00 a.m. making a lot of noise. Would not stay there again."

"Areli did a wonderful job welcoming us and had the house clean. House has all the amenities you could want. Everything worked well. The property had mango trees and a barbecue area along the river. Marlon Who takes care of the property and grounds is very likable and did a wonderful job. Thank you, everyone!!"

"Great location! We had a week planned in Cayo with some of our family staying at the San Ignacio Hotel. This house was conveniently located right across the street! Easy to get to downtown and the highway. Juan, the caretaker, was quick to answer questions and help us with anything we needed. Only complaint was upon arrival there was a mix up of which unit we were in. There are 3 separate units on the property. We rented the larger house but we were initially taken to a smaller apartment. "Dream Valley's location is beautiful and the cabins are spacious. We had a rivers view cabin and it was great to sit on the private patio and watch and listen to the wildlife (tons of birds, howlers moneys). Pool is great. 2nd time we have stayed and would stay again. "

"Hotel com boa localização. Quarto limpo e confortável. Café da manhã básico. Tive problemas com falta de água quente durante toda a estadia. Na verdade até água fria havia pouca. Tive de tomar banho em um banheiro de uso comum, bastante sujo. Embora tenha solicitado o reparo no primeiro dia, não fui atendido. "

Great place, exactly as the photos. Minor issues.

Also, in another time, they were entering the apartment without letting me know first. There's still construction working on the building and sometimes people walk in the apartment balcony. I was alone, so it wasn't a big issue for me, but it would have being completely inappropriate if I had my wife and daughter with me. "
