"This iconic mansion certainly took our breath away from the moment we walked in. The architecture, furnishings, and even the accessories made us feel like we were entering another era. It took us a while to simply explore the property, but when we settled in, we got to cook a meal for our large group in the well-appointed and updated kitchen. "Beautiful property, excellent host and easy check-in, check-out and communications. Wasn't clear until we arrived that the spa was off limits. Could have been a bit cleaner and provided a little better bath amenities. However, well-stocked kitchen and wonderful outdoor living spaces-we were able to put together a great meal to enjoy all of the wine we bought throughout the day. We would stay again and hope to enjoy a full wine tasting at the property on our next trip out."

"Rivendell had great location on the river. The dock and kayaks were a highlight. The home was clean and the kitchen was well appointed with everything you could need. High quality appliances. We had an issue with the TV and the property managers were very helpful in getting it resolved. Screen doors to the patio would be appreciated to allow for a breeze to circulate the house as it’s quite warm in the afternoon. A very relaxing and comfortable home to spend time with family on the river :-)"

Will say cellular reception is practically non existent, however there was clear instructions on how to enable WiFi calling for most phones. There was another room for pets to roam around in the yard and there was clear directions on how to use the hot tub! Definitely recommended this place for a quiet get-away!"

"Beautiful surroundings, views, hike up the mountain. House was clean, comfortable, if a bit impersonal. Loved the fireplace. Shower and baths are luxurious but not great water pressure and not enough hot water to fill the tub. Aida was helpful with info. Would definitely stay here again."
