"We loved staying in the woods and so close to the Lake. Very quiet. The bathroom was just a little small but very clean and comfortable cabin. We would definitely come back again "

"We decided last minute to get away for a quick, midweek relaxation trip. We now wish we’d booked this cabin for a week! Check-in was a breeze, the cabin was spotless, and the western facing view of the lake was gorgeous at every hour of the day. The cabin is set back on a picturesque, tree-framed road with little to no traffic. We enjoyed morning walks with our coffee, and late nights around the campfire with our cocktails. (All firewood was provided!) We just can’t say enough great things...

"I was unfortunately unable to utilize my reservation to an illness to a member of the party I was going to be visiting during my stay so I had to cancel the trip. I contacted Matthew to notify him that his housekeeping crew would not need to clean the cabin after my presumed stay and he was kind enough to refund the cleaning fee from my rental. It was much appreciated!"

"It was cozy and just perfect for what we needed. We enjoyed having a fire Friday and Saturday night. We loved all the shops and restaurants/bars nearby. We will definitely be back if we ever visit Hayward again. "

"Husband and i stayed here for a quick weekend getaway following a year of fighting cancer. This small town cabin was cute and clean! Plenty of bars, shopping and restaurants within walking distance. "

"This was a perfect getaway. Near Hayward if you need anything, but still tucked away and secluded with access to trails. Very comfortable and clean."

"The cabin was nice, we hoped to fish the lake but after arriving we learned that the lake is drained down 4 feet starting in September (not sure if this is yearly) so we were unable to launch our boat. We did find another lake close by to fish and found some big ones! The cabin had everything we needed to cook meals and kids loved playing with the toys they had."

"The cabin was absolutely perfect! Great location and we were able to bring our boat and dock at cabin. The cabin had everything we needed and more! My husband would love to biy the place for the two of us lol. Thank you for hosting us! We loved our stay! "

"Loved the property and Matt is wonderful. Out of his hands but the quarry or construction next door was quiet loud. I also didn't realize that it is so close to town, basically in town but everything about the place was phenomenal and well-cared for and clean. Beautiful little location. Thanks Matt! "For the past 6 years we have tested out various VRBO properties, trying to find the "perfect" spot for our family get togethers...and this past Labor Day weekend, we found it! Our requirements included: 1. Sandy beach with gradual depth so the grandkids could play...check! 2. Clear water so we could swim off the pontoon boat or dock...check! 3. Lake that's large enough to pull a raft behind the boat, but not over crowded with boaters...check! 4. A large, clean property...check! This house...

"Overall it was a nice stay ,we were out exploring things so we were not at the house alot but when we were there it was comfortable. It had everything we needed for our stay there I wish the weather would’ve been warmer so we could experience the lake a little bit more, but it was still a nice stay"

"Almost nothing to complain about with the property, everything was clean, well maintained, and as promised with the listing. Only thing that didn't work well was the wifi, but hard to ask for great wifi out in the middle of the woods like that. The property manager did everything could to get it working for us too. Overall a great stay and would recommend. "
