"Ein wunderschönes Ferienhaus für bis zu 8 Personen. Wir konnten sogar unsere Mahlzeiten außerhalb des Hauses einnehmen. Auch bei schlechterem Wetter konnten wir das unvergleichliche Panorama der Berge und des See's genießen, weil wir uns den Tisch vor das Fenster geschoben haben. Das wäre unser Traum haus, wenn wir in Irland wohnen würden. "

"First of all, the lodge is exactly as portrayed in the pictures. We absolutely loved our 8 day stay in in this remote and quiet countryside. Lough Carra was beautiful, and we had sheep out front and dairy cows in the back. Beautifully landscaped as well. The caretakers, Jim and Mary were exceptional. We chose this place because we waned private and and countryside. We got it. It was the perfect base for our wanderings in Co. Mayo, Co. Galway and Connemara. My only sugesstion is for clearer...

"I big house with plenty of space. Everything there which is needed. Within a shourt time we feel like at home. Beautiful view from front (sea) and bach ( green gras and sheeps). We recommend the the house very much. Owner and housekeeper are very friendly. Cantact per E-mail ! Check in with key-box without problems and perfect description of the way to the house. A few things have to be renovated or replaced, but that doesnt matter for us. Nice fireplace ! Washing machine, dryer and dishwasher...

"This place is just perfect. The surroundings and the views are splendid, at the end of a beautiful road, making you feel that you are alone (even if Letterfrack is quite close). The house by itself is very comfortable and practical. And Tim is the best host, very available and helpful. We couldn’t hope for a better basecamp for our week in Connemara."

"Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....

"What a great stay! My daughters said it was the best place we stayed on our whole trip, and wish we stayed longer. We loved the remote location and beautiful setting. It is just a short walk past fields of grazing sheep and cows to Carrowinsky Strand, which is a stunning beach. The owner provided a packet with helpful information in nearby Louisburgh. "We booked this cozy cottage for two weeks in mid-October. Donna was wonderful. She reached out prior to the stay to chat through the VRBO site and as we got closer she shared things to do and see in Louisburgh and other close towns. We communicated through Whats App once we landed at Shannon Airport (2.5 hours away). She met us at the house to show us how to use the applicances, turn on the water to the showers, lock the doors, etc. She also had flowers and a card for our wedding anniversary...
