"Very cute setting. Family neighborhood. Close to Hidden Hill Venue. Was hoping to be in the heart of downtown so could walk to restaurants and shops but driving was close to food and shops. All amenities were included at house. It even had bottled water and coffee supplies. Other than the WiFi being spotty, it was an adorable house. Very relaxing."

"The TV was not working downstairs would power on but would not give any options for channels or anything. A blow dryer would be nice to have there but we did not find one in any of the bathrooms. But those are minor things overall it was great for our family that stayed and came to visit. "

"The property is placed in a nice residential neighborhood and although the owner is on site, we only saw her once watering her plants. Charlene was pleasant and very helpful. The place has everything you need from cookware to coffee and even a washer and a dryer. It's posh and comfortable and I highly recommend."

"I stayed two nights in this comfortable little cottage. It’s a one-room structure with a cute kitchenette, tiny bar with barstools, and a comfortable queen bed. "Absolutely perfect place to escape flooded Asheville for a few days. The house is well-supplied with cooking utensils, bedding etc. Only minor moan is that we really couldn't figure out how to watch anything on TV but there's plenty of other things to do a short stroll away - a beautiful park (OK, maybe 3/4 mile), restaurants, bars etc. We recommend it highly to anyone visiting Hickory."

"We came to Hickory for my wife’s work as a traveling nurse. Our permanent residence is in Asheville (Swannanoa). Hurricane Helene had devastated WNC the week before our visit. The apartment was a great refuge for 10 days. The apartment worked great for my wife and myself. It was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Rachel was great host."

"I was traveling from NY and had to drive to Asheville for a wedding... but the woman at the front desk was kind of rude and not so welcoming at 1:30pm when I arrived and asked if I could check in early as I had to get changed.
