2bed 1bath unit with deck and hot tub, on the river 5 min to Estes park

Kozy Kove is our largest unit on site, perfect for small families or close friends. Unit features a living area with a TV, Gas Stove (fireplace), a full kitchen with a large 6 top table, a queen bed by the living area, a bedroom with a full bed, that has access to a balcony with patio seating, one shower, exiting the living area is the access to a private balcony and hot tub. Enjoy some bubbles with family and friends by the river. You have full access to the river, however fishing license is needed. Free parking is available on the property. Unit is accessible. Wi-Fi is available however, in the canyon service is not the best.it may go in and out at times we have a studio behind this unit that has a full kitchen bathroom tv and Queen bed it can be added for an additional fee so we could accommodate 6-7 guest for this room message me for more details

Good value but not quite 2 bedroom
We liked the cabin- it was very nice. Could use a little updating. Bedroom headboard has had better days ;). There were 2 beds, but was expecting 2 private bedrooms along with the common area/kitchen.

We stayed at the Kozy Kove on June 8-13, 2023. We contacted the property owner a week ago about some issues we had and have heard nothing back. Now here is our review. First, the location was beautiful and we enjoyed watching the river and wildlife. The fact that the river was on one side of the cabin and the road on the other was a huge plus for us. However, if a hot tub is not important to you and you want to enjoy the river views, this is not the cabin for you. We did have a few issues with the cabin that we could have lived with until the last couple of days. *There was a dirty sock in the corner of the living room when we arrived. *The shower curtain was too short and the bathroom floor flooded each time we showered. *The bathroom light fixture was not completely attached to the ceiling. *The wifi and internet was not sufficient to support all guests at one time. When you are paying a premium, you expect to have good internet. My husband needed to be on a zoom call for work and was unable to connect. *The last day as we were packing up we realized that we had had a roommate for our stay. I had seen evidence earlier in the week but was confirmed as we discovered that a mouse had helped itself to a lot of our groceries. Again, for what you pay, you don’t expect your cabin to have a rodent(s). The thought of a mouse being in our luggage was horrible. We enjoyed our trip to Estes Park but will not stay at this property again.

A HUGE Disappointment
Where do I start....arrived at location on time and directions to open up the cabin were sufficient. Very dark and gloomy interior and had trouble finding light switches. The hot tub wasn't hot enough, so we thought we'd use it on the 2nd day...No sooner were we settling in when my husband noticed a very strange woman peering in the front window. She then tried to open the front door. And then she went to the rear of the building and rattled the door knob.. again, she looked in the window. I yelled at her to get away and she ran barefoot next door to the couple who had just arrived. My husband went outside to make sure she had left and the neighbors told him she was begging for money, drugs and cigarettes. She then left the area heading for Estes Park, but she had crossed over the river and stood across from our unit, staring and stalking us. We were afraid to go out on the back deck. I tried two contact numbers from my confirmation information and had NO cell service.. but what really upset me is that I could not call 911..C'mon now...NO CELL Service for 911? That night we both slept with one foot on the floor. We had planned on staying for two nights, but the next morning we left early for a hotel. I do NOT recommend this place..it is a renovated motel, very close to the road, and overated. There are better cabins in the area. I did NOT feel safe there.

My Husband and I flew out to Colorado for the weekend to do some hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park. The cabin, while noticeably older, looked cute online and it was one of the only ones in the area that allowed only a 2 night rental. We were the only people staying at the property, which hosted several other cabins. Lets start with the negative.. The hot tub was dirty and didn't work. The bathroom sink didn't drain, the shower curtain was discolored by mold/age at the bottom and the caulking in the shower was stained from age or mildew. The neighbor on the other side of the stream out back was either on hard drugs or having a mental crisis, pacing and talking to themselves on their front porch throughout the evening. For the price of the rental I expected much much more. The positive is that Colorado is beautiful and we spent most if our time at RMNP or in Estes Park. Also the property Manager was very nice and allowed us a later check out time due to the hot tub inconvenience.

Great Cabin!
My husband and I stayed in the Kozy Kove over Christmas and it was perfect. Our cabin was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed to cook a Christmas dinner. The hot tub was an added bonus, very relaxing and quiet and it was a very short drive into Estes Park. We'll definitely keep it on our list for future visits.

The place was really cute, and the hot tub had a nice view of a river. The units are named and not numbered so that was a little confusing for check in, but everything was sorted and we had a great stay overall!

Great views & cozy feel
Choosing Kozy Kove; overall we had a pretty good stay. There are definitely some things to note. Pros: You're only about a 10 minute drive from the shops in Estes, so that was really convenient. We also really enjoyed the hot tub as well as the DVD player with satellite tv included. I reccomended bringing some DVD's if you want to watch specific things. There is a full kitchen if you want to do any cooking, which is nice, and the view of the river is beautiful; You are only steps away. They also provide a grill, we didn't use it, but loved having the option. Cons: there were a couple used washcloth/towels left in the bathroom when we arrived. There's a hornets nest outside the bedroom door that leads to the balcony, so we didn't bother trying to go out there. The lights on the back deck don't work, so you'll be in the dark if you plan on using the hot tub at night. The internet is a great feature for the mountains but it does disconnect frequently. There is a container of hot tub cleansing tablets but its unfortunately empty, so we couldn't clean the hot tub per host instructions. We also texted Wendy about using the fire pit we found outside, and she never responded, so that was a bit disappointing. Lastly, you are right off the main road, so it's a bit noisy. Overall, great views and cozy feel for a little modern sacrifice. Would recommend.

Cute Little Place
It wasn't quite as secluded as I had initially thought, and from the hot tub on the back patio (which over looked the gorgeous river) we could see the parking lot and road. Wifi wasn't great, but hell it's pretty so that's not bad at all. There's no way to stream movies/shows through the DVR, so be sure to bring a laptop and HDMI cable if you'll want to cuddle up and watch a movie late at night. It was very clean which was great, even the shower looked pristine which is very important to me. Overall, a delightful place to stay, highly recommended :)

It was a cozy little cottage, perfect for me, my husband and our 7 year old daughter on our 3 night stay. Very clean, and quiet! The view from the back deck was beautiful. We hopped in the hot tub at night to relax. Definitely recommend. Will be back next fall!

Relaxing vacation
This property was exactly what I was looking for in a rental! The deck being right over the water was perfect for relaxing with a cup of coffee every morning! The cabin was quaint but very comfortable and was great for my husband and I. Would definitely stay again!
