"Beautiful log home in a quiet neighborhood right on the river. Such a nice home. Highly recommend you stay here. Great for large family gatherings. "

"House was beautiful and very clean with many amenities. Great for multiple families as the downstairs has its own kitchen, laundry room, bedrooms and bathrooms. The bathroom configuration was a little odd - 3 full downstairs for only 2 bedrooms and one bedroom on the main floor had its bathroom right in the bedroom not walled off. Overall it worked well for a 7 girlfriend getaway. Host Charlie was very responsive with our needs. "

"We use this cabin as a base for exploring south Adirondack hiking trails. We really enjoy the location, the cabin itself, the quiet place and the scenery at diner time after long hike. One of our favorite was very near by : Peaked mountain trail."

"Our family absolutely loved our stay! The house is so beautiful! The kids loved the playground. We all loved making s’mores at the fire pit. The house was big enough to comfortably accommodate our family of 9. The house is in a private wooded area with the river across the road. You can not see the neighbors once you are on the property. It was only 20 minutes away from downtown Lake George. We are definitely planning on staying at this house again next time we go on vacation. "

"It was clean, nicely decorated, everything was new and in working order. Would suggest adding some face/wash cloths and top sheet for bed. Also, bed was comfortable but squeaked every time you made a move. All in all nice property and enjoyed our time :)"

"Coffee pot was not cleaned, 2 nd floor full bed has an old mattress and they said that they rolled into the middle. It’s an overall nice woodsy cabin. We would stay there again knowing what we’re in store for. A very fair price, with an excellent location to lake George and Gore mountain. Dogs welcome is a plus also "

"What an amazing place to stay, was pleasantly surprised at how much the home had to offer with the upper and lower level there was plenty of room for the family to move about and not be on top of each other. The pool was amazing too, the property owners were great and very efficient the one time we had a question they were right there to help us out. Definitely a place we will come back to next year. Thank you for sharing your home with us, we really appreciate it"

"Had an absolute blast with friends at this lovely “modern cabin”. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably with a the necessary amenities needed to get by. Awesome fire pit and river access. We visit Cronins Golf Resort and it was amazing. The place was Caddy Shack meets Cheers. I highly recommend this awesome place for a weekend getaway! "

"Generally a good stay and close to our homes for a family get together...so hard with family so busy these days. The lake is close and nice, great for kids. A few points where house could have been a bit better, but owner was accessible and accommodating. Make sure you bring towels and bath stuff. 👍👍"

"A fantastic location for those looking to get away in the Adirondacks. Conveniently close to Chestertown, as well as many outdoor activities, Eagles Nest was an awesome location to stay at with friends and family. "

"If you are looking for a place to stay to ski at Gore Mountain, this is the place. The drive to the mountain was super easy and is only 18 minutes away. The house itself is a bit dated but charming. The house has everything you need in it. towels, toilet paper, blankets, etc. The doors are solid wood with latches instead of door knobs. The fireplace was great to sit in front of after a hard day at the mountain and the hot tub was amazing for the sore muscles. The only complaint I had was the...

"The owner/manager was very pleasent. She called to let me know (late check in) where i could find my key for the room. Also got to meet her at the front desk where she offered this tired weary travler a meal even with the restaurant being closed she was amazing and i and my famy have found our go to spot in the Adirondack mountains area Thank you Andy Cuthbertson "
