"The cottage is just so special and beautiful, we just loved it. It's close to town and there are a lot of things to do in the area. Thank you Denise for the warm welcome and looking after us."

"I have to preface this with an *. I had booked the gardener's cottage but there was some sort of booking mishap and the cottage was double booked. To their credit they gave me a room in the main house which was very nice. It was technically an up-grade and there was no charge. I would have like the solitude of the cottage, but I am not upset as I had a lovely time. You should most definitely get dinner. The food was exceptional. "The Meadow View Farmhouse was a dream come true. Eamonn was an awesome host. He met us at the house with a wealth of information about the area and even booked us a visit to a local castle viewing. The attention to detail that he has put into refurbishing this old farmhouse is phenomenal. The views surrounding the house were spectacular! We even got to experience a local farmer moving his cattle from one pasture to another on the road in front of the house. A true Irish gem and we will...

"We really enjoyed this cottage. It was exactly as listed. So cozy and felt like home. Our host was lively and we loved the town. We enjoyed several meals at Giltrap Pub. Mattresses are still the kind with springs which was not a great fit for our backs but the rooms and duvet covers were just great!! Nice shower and bathroom. Overall, I’d recommend this cottage to all. We were able to make several day trips East and South. Great location if your renting a car. Thanks a million."

"Cara, Sinead and the entire family and staff at The Inch House were very hospitable, patient and kind with our large group of 20. We celebrated my 60th birthday and it truly was a dream in the Irish countryside. Thank you so much, I hope some day we can return."

"This was a very lovely house, however there was an oil leak with a VERY STRONG ODOR !! This odor gave me a headache. The owner was aware of this problem because her son came over shortly after we arrived, said that they would get someone out to repair it but after 4 nights it was not repaired.. The electric tea kettle had so much red liquid sediment in it I was afraid to use it .. The liquid hand soap dispenser was almost empty in the bathroom. No extra toilet paper was provided."

"Loved this little duplex. The space was nice, and fireplace was a nice touch. Highly recommend you walk down the road to Kelly's. Bir Castle grounds are an easy walk away, and well worth an afternoon."

"Yvonne and Peter couldn't be more accommodating! Yvonne met us to discuss the cottage. She had nice touches to make everything cozy. It was incredibly clean! We felt at home immediately! It was a wonderful base camp for Kilkenny and several other places. We loved Portlaoise and enjoyed several trips into town ( only a 10 minute drive) We loved their dogs and enjoyed spending time getting to know them. ( Our choice, they are very respectful of privacy) I absolutely recommend their place 100%!!"

"Very clean and spacious. It was the perfect location for our needs. This property is located on a working farm which we loved. The bedrooms were large with good sized bathrooms.....all were en suites."

"Lovely hotel, very central, great breakfast and the bar is also lovely. Room a little too warm for me even with heating off and window open but that’s personal preference. Overall we had a really good stay and would come again. "

Não tivemos boa experiencia

"Pela nota do hoteis.com tinha uma expectativa muito maior do hotel, pois sempre tento reservar com notas acima de 9, porém as fotos nos leva a esperar uma coisa e a realidade foi outra. Estávamos em casal e o quarto era minusculo, não sou muito exigente, porem esperava o minimo de espaço para conseguir abrir uma mala, o unico local que dava era onde abria a porta do quarto, então se a mala estivesse no chão aberta, ninguém saia ou entrava no quarto. O cafe da manha não é buffet, os pratos são bem tipicos de comidas da região, o que não nos agradou. Para chegar no quarto tinha uma escada logo seguido de uma porta, o que dificulta conseguir subir as malas. "
