"The hotel was clean, staff was pleasant and our 1 night stay was great. Breakfast was ok. There was not hot items left on the buffet at 8am. The only thing that irritated me was an additional charge of $17.86 - " "in case i purchased one of thier snacks." This charge was not mentioned when i booked the room. They had my card information and could have charged me if i had purchased anything from the hotel. It has been 12 days since our stay and i have not been refunded that additional charge."

"Spent 12 nights here whilst visiting family in the area. We agree with other guests that the Alexander Mansion House offers an “experience” in an historic building. "My husband, pup, and I enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin! When we arrived, the place was warm from the fireplace and had those instant cozy vibes. The place is probably the cleanest rental that we've ever booked! Loved the rocking chairs. And the attention paid to little details was really nice--from the white noise machine in the bedroom to the dog bowls for your pup in the kitchen. It was also really nice having a decent-sized fridge and a mini stovetop! Some people have noted train noise...

"Pretty unique property in a calming remote area with rolling hills & wildlife. It looks to have some renovations taking place and could use more. Maybe the time of the year in the country or not knowing when the unit was occupied last…lots dead flies on the ground & many more in the bead rooms flying around?!?! However the value of the rental for number of people it can sleep is good vs the cost! The hosts were very responsive!"
