"The apartment we stayed in was beautiful. We loved the decor and the apartment was so clean. The kitchen was well equipped. Onsite parking was a big bonus. It was a short walk to Bowness pier with plenty of shops and places to eat on the way. Excellent communication with the host. We would certainly recommend a stay here. We will certainly be returning. "

"When we arrived our original accommodation was no longer available due to essential work going on. The house was perfect for us as it had plenty of space, lots of bedrooms/bathrooms, making it a very comfortable stay even with a large group. The communication with the property manager was great! "Owners of Cottage provided a phone number to call one week before our arrival. Numerous attempts each day and "no one" answered the phone. And there wasn't any way to leave a message. On our way to the unit, we had an emergency, one member, in the emergency room for 3 hours. I tried getting hold of the unit, no response so I called VRBO. We had to cancelled because I could not speak with the owner about our situation and their accommodations. Request complete refund."

"It really IS a working farm with real hard working people there who care.Matthew recieved some pygmy goats while we were there and it was fun to see them. The place was thoughtfully decorated and spacious. If you are very tall you need to be carefull here. It is in an old stone structure that has some recent modern upgrades. Very warm and cozy. A 5 minute walk from the front door gets you a million dollar view. TONs of great hiking and mountain biking options nearby. We would gladly stay here...

"My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here such an unusual place having a secret door was great fun and not something we have come across before .parking was easy internet speed was good plus the tv has Netflix and there are lots of books and dvds to choose from ,the kitchen and bathroom was a bit dated but very clean and perfectly fine another joy was watching the red squirrels playing on the lawn right outside the apartment."
