"During a hectic time we needed a break — this lovely cabin was exactly what we needed. Deer would gather at the cabin morning & evening — even coming up the steps of the deck! Our grandsons 5&8) visited one afternoon and had a great time shooting hoops and playing in the woods."

Nestled in the woods between Woodland Park and Cripple Creek made it convenient for those trips to town. It is located close to several different points of interest also. We would recommend this destination for anybody looking for a spot to unwind and decompress from the daily grind and enjoy all the wonders nature has to offer."

"Pleasant stay, great communication with hosts. They informed us of possible bear activities in area. House was very clean and accommodating. Wish we could stay longer!"

"The road into the property can be rough, but access to this particular cabin is limited to AWD or 4WD vehicles. And add rain or snow, and it would be 4WD in low gear only. The cabin was well equipped in all areas, i.e. kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms, and included a washer/dryer which come in handy due to the remote location. Grounds were clean and well kept. Too bad the wood burning stove inside is not available. "

"The house is convenient to downtown Colorado Springs, making it easy to access everything we needed. There were great dining options within walking distance. However, the home is smaller than the photos suggest. It was clean and decently stocked, but the living room couch was replaced with an uncomfortable IKEA sofa that fits only 4 people closely. The only other seating options are the 3 wooden chairs and 2 decorative chairs in the dining area. All beds were uncomfortable and felt like sleeping...
