"This a gorgeous location. Our almost two week stay with ocean view was happy and carefree. We saw a whale watching tour launch from the painters lodge dock. The marine building near the dock was open every day with information on tours and adventures. The heated swimming pool was refreshing. The spa is being upgraded so there will be an outdoor hotub. Our family utilized the onsite gym. We met the new owners , and managers who were all so welcoming towards us. We had many meals on the deck...

"Lovely quiet location with everything you need to be comfortable. Situated very close to parks, groceries, restaurants and local attractions. Fishing was amazing with a local guide. So happy we chose this listing in Campbell River. "

Everything we needed was there, both inside and out. Les reached out to let us know there may be whales in the area which was a nice touch. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer! "

The Carriage house was absolutely perfect for 2 couples to comfortably spend time gazing at the beautiful Discovery Passage watching the seals, sea lions, cruise ships, seaplanes taking off and landing and magnificent eagles do their thing right in front of us. The house is located very close to so many wonderful sights that the Island has to offer including water adventures (recommend Discovery West Adventures), waterfalls,...

"The place is even better than advertised. It's location is close to many great amenities on Cortes, including fairly close to the ferry, the grocery and a nice, dockside restaurant. Sue was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end, always highly responsive. Really, this place is so great I'd like to keep it a secret so we can easily book for years to come.
