"We are so thankful to Pamela for everything she did for us in our stay. Her property was immaculate, quiet and picturesque. The beds were comfortable and the property had anything you could need while staying there. Pamela also gave us some fabulous suggestions on local restaurants and places to visit. "We loved this location, a few minutes' walk to the wonderful Makarora river braidplain. The house is unique: rustic and a little run down. Comfortable enough if you aren't expecting luxury. Some things could use a little updating (i.e. floors and bath fittings) but all this is secondary to the stunning landscape. We enjoyed our 10 days exploring the area--be sure to check out The Craypot fish and chippie at the end of the road over Haast Pass and the Wilkin Jet Boat tours."
