"I know a lot of the reviews have been negative but this lodge is just a simple, comfortable motel. The rooms haven’t been renovated so they’re a little run down but almost everything was spotless and the linens were clean. I’d say just some of the corners were a bit dusty and there were some hard water stains in the sink. The mattresses are a little saggy but were still decently comfortable. "Me and my husband had a wonderful stay of one night at this small and cozy space. It is very well located between Anchorage and Seward, if you would like to take your time to explore Keanu Peninsula. The house is beautiful, the room (king bed) huge and very cozy. The place is beautiful, clean, and made us fell like home. Extremely quite, private and highly recommend. The breakfast was delicious: French toast with berries and sausage. "Our host Gary was on top of it and got us in earlier than we had hoped and even upgraded us to a nicer, roomier and cozy cabin. We stayed on for three nights but wished we could have stayed longer. The spa was wonderful on a cool frosty night or morning and was clean and well kept. "Stayed with Friends for a fishing/hiking vacation. Property was a great place to stay and allowed us access to many of the outdoor activities.
