"This was a perfect stay for our multi family stay. There are so many areas throughout the house that make this place unique. There’s also many different nooks that, if you just want your own peace and quiet, “away from family and friends”, you can escape too, The lower level bedroom has its own private full-size bathroom. Only thing I have already recommended is to have a small area in the lower level bedroom to hang your clothes in…otherwise the place was perfect! Will definitely be staying...

"You will not find a more beautiful property with everything a family or group could want. The property is an oasis conventiently located in Rockford and easy to access from Chicago. The house is exactly as described only better. Expansive and well equipped kitchen. Plentiful and comfortable bedrooms and conveniently located on two floors. First flior bedrooms ideal for those who don't want to climb stairs. Multiple sitting and living areas. Lovely outdoor spaces with plenty of land to enjoy....

"We stayed over the Fourth of July weekend to celebrate my niece’s 29th birthday, and the house was absolutely beautiful. The neighborhood felt very safe, which we appreciated since we had children with us. The home featured several high-end, smart appliances, which made things convenient.However, there were some issues. Towels weren’t placed in the bathrooms or bedrooms—we had to search the basement laundry room to find them. There also seemed to be no pest control done at all, as we encountered...

"Good stay. The house and yard worked well for us - we came in for a family wedding. "

"We had a wonderful weekend with our kids and my sister’s family and my dad. The kids loved the pool which was clean and well stocked with pool floaties. The teens and even the adults loved the arcade room and that kept them busy for hours. The kitchen was well-stocked with all that we needed to make meals for our group for the weekend. We also enjoyed that each bed had different firmness levels so we could choose our preferred softness. Quiet neighborhood that is close to restaurants and grocery...

"Cerro Vista is the perfect place to host a multi-generational family gathering! We celebrated our 40th anniversary and had our 3 adult children and their families (total of 13) stay with us here for a week. Our objective was to spend time together without having to go anywhere to entertain the 5 grandchildren (ages 6mo - 8). This was definitely the right place.There was enough space that we could have multiple small gatherings going on at the same time ... billiards, ping pong, card game,...

We had a meaningful time and the home is absolutely beautiful and well suited for gathering of people to talk and play games. And have breakfast coffee together. "Myself and two other athletes stayed here with family for the Rockford Ironman 70.3 race. It was a perfect mix of tranquility and location to get to the race. The house was clean, well appointed, and had a great view. The accommodations were exceptional and communication with the host was easy. "

"We very enjoy our stay!"

"We had a wonderful time here. The house is very big and worked perfectly for our group golf trip. Host is great! Propane ran out for the grill and she brought a new tank over very quickly which was above and beyond!"

"The home was beautiful and easily accommodated our large family of 14 ranging from 7 - 75 years old. The kitchen was well equipped and had plenty of room for multiple cooks. All the kids enjoyed going down to the docks to fish, swim and paddle board and the fire pit was a hit! Maureen was a delight to work with and very responsive to every request. We had a wonderful week and will likely rent again. As an aside, we rented equipment from the local marina within walking distance of the lake house...

"Our party of 9 (4 adults, 5 young people) thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We rented a boat, and the pier worked great to tie up the boat. The property was well furnished inside and out for a comfortable stay. We spent a lot of time on the water with the boat either swimming, tubing or simply cruising to enjoy the beautiful sunsets."
