"I liked the property overall except you can hear people walking over your room. I did tell the staff there but there is nothing they can do because it is a construction problem. The person that checked me in did want to put me in a room away from others but I needed a room near the elevator."

"Nicest and most peaceful hotel in monroe. Also most expensive but you pay for what you get. Decent breakfast every morning, my only thing was the staff with "their computer system". Just make sure you pay all at once if your planning on staying more than one day. Adding days becomes a headache. "

"It snowed the weekend we were there, but still enjoyed going down to the barn to spend time with the horses. They are amazing. Disappointed by the breakfast/meals that were included. We couldn't go far because of the snow, so we were limited and the meals were disappointing. Thank God they had snacks !!! The cook/ kitchen manager appeared to not want to be there and it was evident in the food she served and her general attitude (unwelcoming)."

"Please make it more useable for electric outlets to charge other things other than cars. The hotel was clean and great to stay. If you needed to charge your batteries it was hard to do that for a boat etc."

"Lovely older hotel. Bedroom was well appointed and had a fireplace. It was walking distance to restaurants and the historic area. Staff very good. Breakfast room was a bit dark and dreary as it was in the basement."
