"We stayed at Jefferson room for two nights. Although this room is facing the busy Main Street, we slept soundly and did not hear anything. We were impressed with the roominess of our room. The bathroom was also spacious. I would recommend putting a bar to hang on to when showering for safety. We love the comfort and convenience of this hotel. It is walkable to restaurants and Watkins Glen State Park."

"Loved the place and the remoteness. The water pump wasn't working, but a solution was promptly provided. It wasn't the best situation, but it worked. Also, the second bed appeared to be a mattress pad behind the main bed. We ended up just sharing the bed for the duration of the stay. Would return, but would love those issues/inaccuracies to be fixed."

"Everything that would satisfy a bachelor looking to hike the Watkins Glen, hit up downtown in walking distance and not break the bank. Previous reviews were correct, though, per not having a chair in the room. I simply used the lawnchair in my suv. Problem solved. I enjoyed Landon's 🍕, and drove up to Solera brewery, Scale brewery and the Finger Lakes distillery. The Watkins Glen liquor store has good variety, prices are decent. "The room was older than expected, but very clean and had a cozy, homey feel to it. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet. The location was perfect for exploring the area, and the view of the lake resulted in a gorgeous sunrise."
