"The Southshire is a beautiful vintage home with original details, great charm, working original fireplace in the large cozy wood paneled parlor. There are games, large comfy sofas, and bookcases full of every genre of books for reading. The dining room is lovely and quaint. My room in the carriage house was very large and furnished with antiques and a working fireplace. Joe, the owner, was extremely nice and very accommodating. He even spent a half hour with me digging my car out of the snow...

"I arrived amidst freezing outdoor temperatures to a warm and cozy interior. I was visiting family and was concerned about snow and ice, Laurie had assured me that it would not be a problem and she was right. The unit was exactly as described in the ad. Laurie made sure that the snow was shoveled and I had no problems getting out in the morning! A wonderful, peaceful getaway!"

Our communication was seamless and she was kind and courteous. She made us feel right at home. This was the first of many trips to this lovely cabin for our family to get our Christmas tree in Vermont.thank you Susan!!!"

"We did enjoy our stay and liked the accommodations. The pics do not entirely do it justice. 1) The living room is larger than the pics suggested. 2) The kitchen pic does not show the bar area which is very nice. and 3) There is no pic of the second bedroom which is also nice.The hostess was helpful in assisting us when we locked ourselves out and was pleasant and co-operative."

Never look elsewhere because this is just perfect - clean, comfortable, beautiful views, peaceful back deck.
