"This is a spacious home, with a beautiful front room that faces a pond. It's in a very relaxing location. Furniture is minimalist, could use an extra chair. On this trip, my sisters and I spent 3 days there and went to Barter theater to watch "Frozen." My nephew enjoyed the fishing. Great place, great show. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to relax."

"The host was wonderful to deal with and got back to us very quickly when a questioned needed answered. The dock and cove were great and you had the whole cove to yourself. "

"Everything was clean, comfortable and well taken care of. The hottub was relaxing and clean. The teens had a lot to do."

"We loved the Bass Bungalow! This place is a gem. Clean, cozy and the views are awesome! Such a peaceful, quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed sitting on the porch soaking in the beautiful mountains and Lake Watauga. Our dog enjoyed swimming and had easy access to enter the lake. It was a perfect getaway for us. "

"Everything was AWESOME! Loved the cabin and Especially screened in Porch. Close to Grayson Highlands Park (Seen wild Ponies there and had some great Hikes) and Creeper Trail. Would ABSOLUTELY Recommend it to anyone staying in Area. HOST was AWESOME! "

"If you’re looking for seclusion but still be close to civilization, this was it. I was by myself taking a few days away from the family for a reset and it was fabulous. Very little traffic noise, actually there was hardly any. And there were fireflies at night. It was great"

"The cottage was peaceful and a perfect place to send my parents to relax. The check in process was a bit odd, the cottages are not clearly marked, they had to guess which cabin was theirs and try their code. Otherwise, this place was perfect. Cozy, clean, and the hosts were quick in response and great hosts! "

"Laurel cabin was perfect for our stay. my dogs loved sitting outside along the river. The scenery was gorgeous, The accommodations were clean & adequate. The owners very helpful. I will probably choose to stay in Hemlock or Sycamore next time because of no stairs. Definetly plan to stay next year"

"This was our first Vrbo experience. We stayed 8 nights. The location off of I-81 was perfect. Check in was super easy. The code to the door arrived two days before our trip. I gave 5 stars to communication with the host, but I gave 5 stars because I didn't have a need to communicate with him. Some minor repairs are needed, but other guests mentioned them so I did not feel I had to communicate them as well. I actually prefer the no contact check in because my dog does not care for...

"Cabin is so pretty, very clean, safe! Everything we needed for a couple day trip..great communication and the process was easy.Would highly recommend "

"Loved this house. I treasured the peace of drinking my coffee on the swing in the gorgeous back yard with the sounds of the water falls and bird song. We enjoyed seeing all the colors of the Koi fish. Very safe neighborhood close to necessities. House was very comfortable and my bed was firm but easy on my joints. Spa tub in bathroom helped relax muscles sore from too much activity. Margaret was friendly and helpful without being intrusive at all. She went out of her way to make our stay...

"We stayed at the cabin July 9-12, 2025. The cabin was the perfect place to relax after a long day of sightseeing! There was plenty of room for our family of 5. We did not cook any meals during our stay but the kitchen seemed to be adequately equipped if meals were prepared with plenty of cooking utensils and pots and pans. It was nice that we were able to bring our fur babies with us on this trip! The morning of our departure we saw two deer in the back yard! "
