"Our stay in Owatonna was great, although, we did not spend much time at the property itself. It was a comfortable space--in which we used both beds--pull out couch and the queen. We had some issues with the internet initially but pivoted and used our hot spot the first night to watch movies (it kept refreshing). The owner rectified the issue by the second night. "My friends and I found this a perfect spot for our Fall ladies weekend. We enjoyed the lake view from the patio, sitting by the fireplace and comfortable rooms. Next time we'll use the kayaks and firepit! Joe was a great and very responsive host!"

"We had our annual extended family get away here vs staying in northern MN or Wisc. We all enjoyed how close it was to our actual homes (MPLS and St Paul) and were impressed with all the amenities, like towels, soap, toilet paper. Past experience we’ve had properties that only leave you one roll of toilet paper (example). The fire pit was wonderful and the host responsive when we had a request. We would definitely come back again! "

" I was born in Austin and travel home as frequently as I am able to. I now reside in Fayetteville, approx six hundred miles away. This trip was primarily to attend my eldest brother's funeral. Your home offered comfort, plenty of room, and even some fun in the form of games. We were able to invite family over and enjoy extended visiting. The yard is all fenced and is good sized. The dogs loved it. Thank you for letting us stay in your home. "

"Our adult sons and their wives from Washington State and Wisconsin joined us so we could also visit my Mom, sister and her husband, and brother. The house is spacious, comfortable, with several rooms to gather, as well as a table that can seat 10, and a well appointed kitchen. We loved it, and would certainly stay there again. "

"We rented fountain blue during a trip back to Minnesota for a family get together. We needed something larger than hotel rooms. This worked out perfectly. The property was very clean and we enjoyed having a full kitchen. I think there may still be some finishing renovations to do but other than that, all good. "

"Four Morgan siblings had a mini reunion back in Southern MN, where our father grew up and we used to vacation every summer 50-60 years ago. Nice big house, close to, but not on, the lake (as the ad seemed to imply). But very happy with our stay. If and when we head back to MN in the future, I would look for this property again, and isn't that the bottom line? And don't worry, the game room does have pool cues, even though the ad says to bring your own. Recommended."

However upon arrival there is an odor in the home that could not clearly be explained. We bought candles to help with the smell. "We have stayed in a lot of VRBO’s but this exceeded all of our expectations. The owners were WONDERFUL to communicate quickly and often. We were welcomed by fresh flowers and a sweet note. The home has been completely remodeled/updated and decorated so lovely! The sunroom was amazing as was the dock and chairs. Highly recommend. "
