"The Newcastle staff were so great. Jessica checked us in and took the time to recommend a museum and show us how to get there on the map. Anna very cheerfully stored our bags for us while waiting for the train. Everyone so friendly. Hotel is a big worm but very clean and the spa/pool excellent (we went both in the evening and next morning!). Pleased to find we’d been upgraded and the room was about big enough for a herd of bison. All great value for money and we loved our stay. "

"The lady at the check in desk was so lovely and friendly and helpful, it was a great start to a great stay! The room was comfy and clean, couldn’t have asked for more really!"

"Great hotel, very welcoming. Beds were extremely comfy! Best pillows ive ever had in a hotel. Very clean, definately stayed in worse hotels over the years. Would 100% return."

"Just amazing as always. Check in was so simple. The receptionist who checked me in was lovely and even when I requested a few things she done it no bother. Nothing was too much hassle for her. Used the spa the following day and the girls on the desk there were great as well. This is the 3rd time staying here and it has never let us down. We are already looking forward to our 4th stay. "

"Excellent hotel, my family and I really enjoyed using the pool and the rooms were lovely and spacious. The only issue was the check in - the hotel told us to go back at 3pm and our room wasn’t ready until after 4pm. "

"O hotel é moderno, bem decorado, bem localizado com um ótimo café da manhã. O quarto é espaçoso, tem mini cozinha, cama king, mesa de trabalho, TV grande, lençois macios. O banheiro é igualmente grande, tem ducha forte e toalhas ótimas. A vista da janela não é das melhores. Há quartos de frente para o St. James Park. Embaixo tem um mercado Tesco e nas proximidades há vários bons restaurantes. "

"History, like the old dimly lit corridors leading to breakfast room, except couldn’t see what you were eating properly where we were put, some of the tables l noticed were in a better position with better lighting, even though we were at the breakfast earlier than some we were put in the same area, l did ask to sit somewhere with more light but they seem to sit other people in the better lit areas, twice l noticed certain residents got priority,even though we didn’t pay for cheap accommodation...
