"The entire place was spotless. It had the feel of a country cabin with ample furniture and picnic-style flatware. Some of the mugs were handmade at Grimm Pottery - which was the best pottery I've ever seen: sturdy, thin and lightweight, perfectly glazed, artistic. Beds and pillows were comfortable, and towels were plush. "My partner and I couldn't think more highly of this property. The cabin is very comfortable, clean, and well-kept. It was such a nice convenience to have a washer/drier on hand after hiking the AT for a day. The communication with the owner was clear and the check-in process was smooth. There is ample signage to help guests find the cabin on the scenic drive into the property.The views are beautiful, overlooking a field with mountains in the distance. "We help with support for hikers (friends) on the AT in the area. The cabin is a perfect location just a few miles from the base camp. Near mt Rogers, and other recreation locations. Comfortable beds and Hot showers, and great location. We will be back next year. "

"We loved this cabin near Marion. It’s a short drive away from being right downtown so the location is great. We had some cold weather and it stayed very warm inside. There were meant great items supplied to make us feel right at home and we really enjoyed the rustic decor and quiet surroundings. Highly recommended!"
