"I was unfortunately unable to utilize my reservation to an illness to a member of the party I was going to be visiting during my stay so I had to cancel the trip. I contacted Matthew to notify him that his housekeeping crew would not need to clean the cabin after my presumed stay and he was kind enough to refund the cleaning fee from my rental. It was much appreciated!"

"We had an amazing time at this cabin. The sunsets are very pretty and it was quiet most of the time. We stayed six nights and we are likely to return again. The hosts are amazing. They live next door and when the was a threat of severe weather, they let us put our car in their garage. We appreciated that."

"We are a group of 11 adults that go on an annual Labor Day trip every year, and this was the best year yet thanks to the Sandalwood Retreat. The house had more than enough space for everyone and their belongings. We were thankful to have two full kitchens and multiple places indoors and outdoors to hang out. Whether we were hanging out as a large group or we were split up into smaller groups or enjoying some alone time, the house accommodated all of our needs without feeling crowded. The hosts...

"This is a sweet spot. The house is clean, comfortable, and on a beautiful lake. The kitchen is as well stocked as any rental property we have stayed in (and we have stayed in quite a few) and the communication with the owner was excellent. "This is an older resort that is being renovated. Our cabin was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The TV was tiny, but viewable from the placement of the seating. The docks were 4 feet out of the water and unusable, but Mark corrected this almost immediately. Lake access is good and the deeper water main lake are is about a 5 minute cruise. Musky Joes is a nice stay for a fishing vacation at a very reasonable cost. Robin’s Nest is a great breakfast cafe and is only about 2 miles away....

"We decided last minute to get away for a quick, midweek relaxation trip. We now wish we’d booked this cabin for a week! Check-in was a breeze, the cabin was spotless, and the western facing view of the lake was gorgeous at every hour of the day. The cabin is set back on a picturesque, tree-framed road with little to no traffic. We enjoyed morning walks with our coffee, and late nights around the campfire with our cocktails. (All firewood was provided!) We just can’t say enough great things...
